    You're not alone. I talked with 20 or so regular buyers I know well at a local one-day show yesterday. Most of them said they were looking forward to Avengers End Game but would not be seeing Captain Marvel. When I asked why, they all said too many Marvel movies over the past couple of years, but there were a couple that said they did not care for Captain Marvel as a character (only two of them saw Ant-Man in theatres - summer holidays and viewer apathy to the character were the two big reasons for that). The relatively close release date for End Game does not help - a couple of the people I talked with mentioned that they were just going to save the $$$ and wait for potential multiple viewings of that film instead. I still think that CM will do well ($700-$800M box office), but I wonder if we are finally starting to see the oversaturation point.

    My biggest fear with the X-franchise going to Disney is that we will be stuck with the same formulaic approach they have with all of their other films. The last few Fox X-Men/DP/Logan films have been darker/more adult oriented and worked. I prefer having more choice in tone/theme when it comes to comic films. Diversity is not a bad thing........

    You can see the same relatively low premium between 9.4 to 9.6 copies of other BA keys as well. There is not much of a difference in the physical appearance of most 9.4 and 9.6 BA keys, and with plentiful supply in both grades for most of them I can understand why there is really not much of a premium for a 9.6.

    I bought a Thrilling Crime Cases #49 and ASM #50 from Gene. As mentioned above, it was a great transaction with secure packing, fast shipping, and good communication. I will buy from him again.

    RE: PQ, pre-2006 CGC was a lot more strict with their PQ assessments. Their grading was not as consistent, but with old/1st gen/original label books you will usually get a PQ bump upon resubmission. Whether the grade improves or drops can vary alot. I picked up a bunch of books that were slabbed in 2001-2002 in a collection last year that are not going for a press and resub since they likely would not improve. Someone else can take that risk if they want.

    They should see if Clink is willing to share one with them. As there are continuing struggles in the energy sector there may be more collectors willing to part with their collections/key books.
