  1. Adventure Comics #381 FN/VF $30 Not sure how to grade this one. It is a nice copy with the start of foxing along the spine on the back cover.
  2. My son's spring hockey team went to watch this with their coaches on Saturday in between games. It was interesting - all of the boys said it was not as good as the first one. Their general consensus was it was okay, but spent too much time talking instead of fighting.
  3. My wife and I watched the first episode with our 13 yo daughter yesterday since "all of the kids in school are talking about it". It was a fun watch, but my wife did not approve of a few of the scenes (especially Archie and Grundy ). I am intrigued enough to keep watching it.
  4. I just checked the slab box and my B&B 28 is cracked so it is no longer for sale. Have to get it reholdered now.
  5. It was not that bad either. Looks interesting enough.
  6. Good to hear that DC may have changed things up enough to get on track. Hopefully Justie League follows suit.
  7. That would be more grammatically appropriate, I think, since it was the two "kissing cousins" involved.
  8. They did it for the only reason there is for a studio, $$$,$$$,$$$. Studios compete with one another just like any other industry. It is smart business for them to do this, just like it was for WW to set a date that will likely hurt the broader Pirates box office take. Both studios are playing the game. I highly doubt that IMAX would take Pirates over WW if it was just the two films going head to head. The last Pirates movie was a flop domestically compared to the first three (it is the only one of the four that did not top $250M in its release year yet it had the highest ticket prices), and I doubt this one will do any better. It is a tired franchise that is banking on a leading actor who is nowhere near as popular now as he was a decade ago. That being said, if I am Disney I would "incentivize" IMAX to keep Pirates running for longer as part of a broader Disney/Marvel film deal. IMAX would comply since the other film franchises are worth more to them than Pirates is.
  9. Not sure I agree with the writer's premise. King Arthur was DOA because the story has been told way too many times before for people to care anymore. FWIW, A Knight's Tale appears to have done a better job of "modernizing" this type of film by not going so overboard with special effects and modern fighting/battle styles based on what I can see in the trailer (I decided way back that not going to waste money it).
  10. That would be awesome! End the movie with a cliffhanger where something knocks Superman out of the sky and when he looks up he sees Black Adam in the air looking down at him just like you would in a comic.
