    House of Mystery 204

    CGC 9.4 WHITE

Tough book...to purchase at least. Not much sales data.

A 9.2 White sold on Clink a few months ago for 280. A 9.6 sold in April for 1320.

Anyway, real nice book. A board asked if I was selling it a few months ago but I can't remember or find our DM's. I will give him a day to see this then it's up for grabs.

    Let's go 550.00

    neat find !!

when i was 16 i signed all my comics i bought that year on the first page (so my brother couldn't say they were his ) , so there are a 100 so comics with my signature on them for some lucky guy some day lol

The first page? I was far more fearful of sibling theft and wrote my first name right across the cover to protect my comics (I was 7 years old at the time). So if anyone finds any comics with "Sean" on the cover, they're mine. :sumo:

Wow, they really hammered the back for the crease as the front looks like a 9.0+

I'm no expert grader (as shown by my placing in the most recent boards grading contest) but I think for a subscription crease - front or back - the highest a book can reasonably be expected to grade is 5.0 so in this case I think they actually bumped up the grade based on how nice the front looked!

There are other board members who will do the story far more justice, but the scandals include arrests, fraud, fake autographs, trimming and other undisclosed resto and a long history of contentious board fights.

Is it true that if you quickly say his name three times he appears? Or is Danny already here?

Here is my copy of "Batman from the 30's to the 70's", not a comic, but a Collected Edition from the 70's so it's Bronze Age material.  This is the best looking copy I have ever seen, bought it from an eBay seller several years ago and he stated he purchased it from an estate sale, was on a shelf with other Bat-memorabilia.

Great pick up. I destroyed my copy of this book when I was a kid in the mid 1970s by reading it over and over and over and over. Recently bought another copy off the boards to destroy all over again!   :cloud9:

I didn’t know Drew personally but his story of a wife and children resonates with me, as I am sure it does many of you.

    Bernie Wrightson’s Frankenstein

this is the 1994 version. First printing that I had signed at a con in the early 2000’s. It is a big bold signature. I will cover the shipping. $50 donation to Drew’s family.

It was Thomas who secured a high grade FF for me several years ago.  The least I can do is offer another in support of his family.

FF 44, CGC 9.2, OW/W. $260.00, 1st Gorgon. All proceeds to Thomas' family. I'll cover shipping in the US/Canada.
