I am sure MCS would have zero qualms in respect to any decision made by CGC regarding restoration or the lack of. And though there may be grading fees involved with submitting to CGC (depending on the value you declare for the comic), you should be able to recover those via an increase in value for any higher grade, even if restored. The higher grade may also make it easier to move. Personally, I would not give up on this comic.

If you want to sell it, you are going to have to take the resto hit. But you could ask MCS to send it to CGC for grading. It will still come back purple but I am guessing with a much higher grade than the 5.0 MCS gave it.

Great looking comic! But isn't this issue from the Bronze Age? You might get more views in GSB than here in Copper/Modern Age.

I wouldn't call the novel Frankenstein a Gothic Romance and still don't see the warning about the dangers of romance. I will find my Wrightson Frankenstein (autographed by the artist!) and take a peek but highly doubt I will ever reread the novel. I find 19th century literature can be a slog to get through

I see Frankenstein as fitting the genre of Gothic Horror/Fantasy, not science fiction. I consider sci fi to be stories that deal with the "future" and technological advancements there, etc. For myself, the simple inclusion of science in a story does not make it "science" fiction.

I'm hoping that the Surfer will still be Norrin Radd and that Anya Taylor-Joy's role will be as Frankie Raye (she is a redhead), who will save the Earth by agreeing to become Galactus' new herald, Nova! I am guessing the script writers will pass on including the ultimate nullifier, the original deus ex machina.
