  2. Sorry it's taken so long, I've been hinting at this for about a month and a half. But yesterday morning was finally the day the collection made it to Heritage and the contract signed. So now I can present the next collection I've facilitated in bringing to the market. All books are OO and belonged to my Dad's childhood best friend and neighbor. I've got some pictures of the books and am working on a finalized inventory that I'll post when finished. The books should become available through Heritage w/ in the next several months w/ the major keys and HG books going into the Feb. Sig. Auction. Hope you enjoy. To start some new entries into the B&B #28-30 club : (thumbs u Andrew

  4. So after all the detailed description about inks and colors in the printing process, it turns out it was just a scanning issue. (thumbs u Andrew P.S. Liked all the CSI style explanations though.

  7. lol I know people that would feel "cool" and "my dad" don't go together. He is defenitly unique I'll give him that. Thanks for the kind words and if you have any questions feel free to post them in the thread. Thank you as well Tim. (thumbs u Andrew
  8. So you know who bought your 9.2 copy? Don't know him personally, but we did meet him at the auction. He actually purchased the 28, 29, & 30. My dad had a short chat w/ him. But I think he was a private collecter and the books will probably not see the light of day for a long time. He also doesn't participate in the Reg. since I still have the books in my inventory. Nice guy, they went to a good home. (thumbs u (thumbs u Andrew The Trifecta. So what were the origins of the books? Were they your original copies? Yes, they were my dad's OO books. Link to the thread about my dad's collection, thanks to Tim. http://boards.collectors-society.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2872537&fpart=1 For more info and Inventory. (thumbs u Andrew

  14. We do it to have a certified independent grade. So that way we can spend huge sums of money for colored paper. To each his own, I've got a large collection of ungraded books to. But when you sell the best way to get the most out of them is to have them graded. In turn when I buy, I buy graded and just don't bother to take them out. I've got the reprints and lesser grade copies to read. (thumbs u Andrew
  15. You must be new. (no offense) I didn't know in the early days either. Yep intombed in plastic never to be touched by human hands again;unless I set them free, all graded comics are. Can't open to read and reseal so no don't read them. I have a complete set of the Carl Barks Library for that. (thumbs u (thumbs u Andrew

  21. Hey everybody just got back from the D23 Expo and had some Duck related pics to share. They held a contest for the 75th Anv. of Donald Duck and the winning painting received a Duckster. Got to see the presentation and the award winner and the other finalist paintings. Had a great time and missed taking my Pic. w/ the duck himself, just kept telling myself I'd do it tomorrow and never did. Maybe next year. Anyway Enjoy. (thumbs u
  22. Some heavy bidding on my dad's stuff in this weeks auction already. I like it. (thumbs u
  23. Sorry I misunderstood your point. I would have to agree, I know when I started collecting Superman was lame, well all DC was lame. But now I've begun to appreciate DC more, at least SA. I guess a big pile of cash will do that to ya. lol (thumbs u
