I figured out the problem. I do suggest you should all check this out.
My computer was 14.9 seconds off according to this neat website https://time.is/
So I believe what happens is that the auction page shows the exact time to the second, but when you click "place bid" that timer is showing the time of your computer. I adjusted my pc to be 0.9 seconds ahead, closest I could get it after a few tries. Now the pop up box time and the auction page time are in synch.
Wow, 15 seconds is quite the difference, at least when it comes to last second bidding. Checked my PC and it's almost spot-on

...and a 4-digit year!
You'd think think all the static text on the label was already in the system and should print out fine every time (barring ink running out)...the only thing that varies is the cert # and grade.

Hi, I just received a book back that had a mechanical error, but this replacement holder has numerous internal scuffs and even a plastic shard in the inner well. When I try to submit it for a mechanical error online, it just tells me it's past the 14 day limit. How can I submit this again for a ME?

For more information about Newton’s rings, watch the video below.
That video (unlisted on their YT channel btw) is hilarious...the basic gist is don't worry, Newton rings are just an "optical illusion", it's a trick of light, and it happens with all kinds of archival solutions...even on cell phones

Signed on X date. *ERROR* that date hasn't happened yet are you sure you have the correct date? Thanks computer!
I agree, seems like that should be a relatively easy automated check built in to the label creation process

Bought a huge Punisher lot on eBay that had 10 one-shots and 20 books for less than a dollar each before shipping (and barely more than a dollar each after). These are the one-shots. I guess Born is actually a 4-part mini series.
amazingly in a 30 book lot I only had two two of the issues already.
Wait, Frank Castle battled Moby D*ck?

This arrival not yet picked up, but it looks different than what I was told.via email to put on the mailing label address USPS? Just confirming I'm not in some kind of tracking, shipping vortex?
Strange. My UPS labels via Pirate Ship always change the city from Sarasota to Lakewood Ranch, but the street address always remains the same. It gets there fine regardless, thankfully

As if backwards wasn't enough, they also had to put it upside down

Received my first submission Overall happy, but a few have some inner well "scuff" marks which is disappointing, and I'll be sending two back that are the most egregious that have several of those scuff lines all over the front. At least CGC packed the items well, nice and tight with that honeycomb cardboard.
