Yep, very true.  It's also a bit more common than the other books mentioned as well.

Found the raw copy.  Its page count is 60, with 16 physical pages to the centerfold and 12 in the back.  As typical with WW 2 era Continentals, there are 4 glued in pages in the front.  This should be the 2nd page in the book (and 1st glued in page)....

Suspense 3 is an early 1944 book.  In this case, it has 60 pages (instead of the early GA usual 68 pages), meaning 16 pages in the front ( to the centerfold), and 12 pages in the back.  Since the interior is pretty pedestrian, almost all the value in a coverless is in its centerfold.
