Some pick ups. My sweetest was on Saturday after tossing and turning over night since the day before, thinking one would need a time machine to find such a pretty book. Pep 35. I don’t know how Ted from Superworld finds these or where his time portal is, but my hats off to him and glad I could bring this one home. A lovely Harry Sahle bondage cover. Shown in the raw.
Just beautiful! One of my favorite MLJ covers.

Anybody have an estimate of how many Detective Comics #33 still exist?
I would suppose the low supply might also affect its desirability.
It's a scarce book, but certainly not rare. I'd guess 250 to 400 +/-

Any updates? Still looks broken.

There were a few books I was looking closely at that are IMO just great on the clink auction. The Torch 23 Aurora, Marvel Mystery 28, One that hasn't yet closed yet, the ZIP 14 Larson (love those rattler covers).
I wish I could have bid on all of them.I stayed focused and got the 1 book I was after before the auction started. There's one more I have an impulse bid on that I doubt I'll get but we'll see.
Here's the one I kept focus on and walked away with. Fight Comics 31.
Beautiful Copy MEB! Heck, any copy of Fight 31 is a good one.

$4600 is a strong price for the Fight 39. Wonder what the highest graded 31 and 40 would bring in this crazy market?
