  1. And while we're showing off, this is one of my favorites.
  2. Adding to the high grade parade. I'm curious where the other high grade War 11s are? I only know of 3 copies.
  3. Who'da thunk that exponential growth couldn't last? But seriously, this is the 4th best known copy? We know that the 2nd and 3rd (although this one seems nicer than the Cage copy) are owned by the same guy, who's a freaking billionaire. How many people have $2M to drop on a comic book? This isn't the Church copy. Expectations about growth at that level have to be reasonable, and $1/2M over 8 years is nothing to sneeze at.
  4. Exactly. The difference between investing and collecting is night and day. People spend money on all sorts of discretionary things that make them happy without worrying about investment potential. With increasing numbers of collectors and competition, you have to pay to get what you want. If you make money on it, bonus.
  5. I don't believe you. Until I see texts and PMs with a credit card number and address, I remain skeptical.
  6. Going up from 19.5 to 20%. Let the mathematically challenged among us complain.
  7. I think around mid-1952 Atlas had started to find it's swing; right around the time Battlefront 1 was on the stands. Traditionally, I had felt the same about the post-code work, but I've found enough pleasant surprises over the years to at least keep buying them.
  8. Atlas did a nice job of mixing in stories of war throughout the ages. I'd guess maybe 15% of the output, does that jibe with you Scrooge?
  9. I don't see why either couldn't be from the collection. ?
  10. For the record, I'm done buying high grade Action 1s for the time being.
  11. Wow. Glad I got my 6 when I did.
  12. I was not disappointed to get this book.
  13. I've had a very hard time finding a nice copy of this one. I finally got one with good colors. It's often faded. Yours looks great!
