  1. I've seen a couple of RK 22s pass through the boards within the last year or so. I sold one to bcc - it may be worth a PM. It was lower grade. Kid Colt 100 & 107 are the only ones I've seen any great demand for. And just because I can...
  2. A sadly large number of my classmates are not yet employed, including a buddy of mine who will get deported if he can't find a job in the next two months. My bro-in-law gave up a great job and went to B-school right before the dot-com market crashed. Almost everyone in his class struggled to get jobs after graduation. Given the way things are now, you've got to feel very fortunate.
  3. Congrats on the job - no small feat in this economy.
  4. But for quality I think you have to give the nod to Supes. 14, 17, 18, 23, 24, 26 are all potentially better than anything in the Action run.
  5. Awesome. I'd love to track some people down and get their stories. Have you thought of having him contribute some tales to your site?
  6. Need that as a cheat sheet for your med practice. All I need to be able to do is find one of the holes and stick a camera in it. It gets much easier after med school.
  7. Great stuff Colin! I've been waiting to see a scan of your 8 - looks fantastic!
  8. I was recently able to upgrade this one.
  9. Thanks all! It's got a few defects that keep the overall grade down - but that made it affordable! The see-through aliens were a clincher.
  10. I was happy to get another Fox book today. It's been a LONG time since I had any issues from this title.
  11. sure looks like the same book. from marnin's site

  13. Aside from AStrange Simon connection, the statue in the background is a very common theme in the graphical representation of the Yellow Menace from the strip & pulp days. The very first daily sequence of Terry & the Pirates include such an idol and as another example, here's a quite similar statue on the cover of The Shadow's The Fate Joss (July 1935) -
  14. Thanks (thumbs u Unfortunately I don't have a National 7 at present. If only we could keep every book we ever owned...I had the MH run of National 1-23 at one time. Pretty, pretty books. Just got this in the mail and now I have the opportunity to post a new acquisition that Bedrock can't top with a 9 something slab. Can't pass that up.What a sensational day I've had. but I can top Parker with this one i can read mine. ?? I thought you were a LSU alumnus. Jack It's the Ole Miss grads that don't need literacy. Go SEC!
  15. That's for sure. It's been driving me crazy for years! Seems like at least 80%. It's nuts.
  16. I would like to remind you that you are primarily known as a comic book dealer, i.e. you sell comic books... and you should sell that one to me.
  17. Sweet pickup, Jeff. Unbelievable how hard it is to find one without a dust shadow.
  18. I know. I was pestering adamstrange about the "L" on the cover as people always think GA books with that are Larsons.
  19. Is that the one Metropolis had a month or two ago?
  20. No need to be jealous! I'm sure you have many books I would simply die to have! he does. and next month he'll have a whole different line-up of books you'd simply die to have. and the next month.... It's a vicious cycle I tell you! Perhaps, but it's my cycle I do get to keep some a bit longer now and then when the winds of good fortune blow my way Can you guys stop talking about Bill's monthly cycle?
