I won some comics last month and paid by CC. They were shipped the next day, which surprised me. The biggest issues I've run into on echecks is if it's a fairly substantial amount it can take some time to clear, at which point they seem to forget about it.

I went back through my records. My book was a Diamond Run, which is the pedigree since defrocked. Wanted to clarify that.

I bought an early GA book from Joe Latino way back when that was around a 3.0 and a Big Apple, but IIRC there's been some concern about non-Big Apple books being labeled otherwise (didn't CGC revoke it as a pedigree a while ago?). In the case of a book like this, attribution of provenance is going to be a best guess, and with only a somewhat typical marking and no other identifiers my guess is that CGC would need more proof.

Agreed. I think you just have to eliminate the SW8 sale from any discussions of value as it's clearly an outlier.

I saw the second sale result, not having known that it had already sold for more and thought the price was inordinately high.

I found so many great deals sorting through the BIN section when it was separated from the auctions, which were featured much more prominently. Once they comingled everything those finds went away.

If inflation keeps up we'll have no problem paying off our debt once the dollar is worthless.
