  1. Those prices don't sound too out of line with what I've seen for shipping to Canada currently for FedEx and USPS priority.
  2. My heart is blackened and shriveled from my ex, so I can't answer that.
  3. 99.9% of the time I'd be right there with you. I typically appreciate the quality of the craftsmanship at least as much, and often more than the content. But this one is a pretty masterful example of "less is more" art, which takes a good bit of talent to do right. I'd be hard pressed to find a better example of plain old comic art that I think is better than this.
  4. That's a really underrated cover. The colorist did it no favors, but the concept of just "moving on" after all that killing is one that Atlas used several times really well.
  5. It's glue that's pulling the superficial layer of the inside cover off with it. Impossible to say if it's manufacturing or not without seeing it in hand.
  6. There are a handful of really nice 'T' books from the 50s, but not an established pedigree. I haven't been able to get any information on them.
  7. I went with the fam last night. Absolutely loved it. Yeah, the America actress was clunky, but I think part of that was that she was really just a prop for the plot. But other than that the pacing was well done, the story was fun, the battle scene between SW and the Illuminati was about perfect. I walked out having had a good time. For an enjoyable popcorn movie, I'd put it in my top 5 Marvel movies. And better than that pouty Twilight Batman who turned Bruce Wayne into a goth teen.
  8. I had the exact same thing happen to me recently. I sold a book raw that was certified a year later by the buyer and was missing pages (weird pg number count). I apologized immediately and made the buyer whole in whatever way he felt most comfortable. As a collector, I know how much it sucks to have a disappointing transaction on a book you're really excited to get. For that reason, I don't want anyone else to have to feel that same disappointment. But 9 months is a long time, and I can see the seller making the case that a fair window has passed.
  9. Yup. Schizophrenia will cause a lot of issues. Trying to rip someone off in a very deliberately calculated manner is not one of them.
  10. What about telling your customers that a big announcement is forthcoming... does that help?
  11. I'm just happy we have a real scandal here. It seems like it's been so long.
  12. Just FYI I don't see any evidence that he tried to color touch it. I'd take that off the table. But clearly, he's marketing it as a certain grade himself. That removes ANY ability to negotiate that he thinks it's not up to snuff as advertised in the initial transaction.
  13. Atlas War stories as a whole are better than most from other genres.
  14. Make sure you check out the Wolverton in that one before you send it in. It's one of his best.
  15. Easily on the Mount Rushmore of comics figures. Hard to overstate his impact. RIP.
  16. You should call and have them downgrade it to a 9.6. Then you'll save money.
  17. I heard someone say it's worth $10M, so 5.9 is clearly a bargain.
  18. More fawning about our critical reasoning skills, probably. That is if they can get past @RareHighGrade's dashing good looks.
  19. That must be the only use of a word balloon in that manner. What a strange way to convey that.
  20. I totally missed the swimsuit portion of the supreme court justice nomination.
  21. My guess is that it's the guy's right to sell it for whatever reason he wants. I certainly don't want my purchases and sales judged by others.
