  1. I owned a Science 5 with the same stamp and have seen one or two other books.
  2. Just got this in from a great collecting friend. Probably my 2nd favorite Heath horror cover. I think all the elements are extremely well done. It's framed and set nicely. The gal looks great. The skeletons are top notch, the anatomy and positioning of the one climbing through the wall is perfectly executed. And the main guy is a Heath self-portrait.
  3. Very underrated book also. It's Kirby's return to Marvel and really the start of the "Marvel Age"
  4. Another completed run. I have a couple of nice undercopies of the 10, but I was the underbidder on this 8.5 the first time around and it's bothered me ever since, so...
  5. I went to Mexico when I was 15 and it wasn't too far off from this. As an adult, much more disappointing.
  6. "Crude" & "Bob Powell" don't go together. He was an elite draftsman.
  7. I will gladly take your money. I've heard that things are getting lost at the border, so it's likely that you will never receive anything.
  8. The Promise collection ended in 1951. The FF FFs started in 1953.
  9. Throwing down a stupid bid at the beginning can intimidate other bidders also. If it shoots up to $210K right off the bat everyone hoping for $175K says, "I'm out".
  10. Yeah. But that's not how the job works. You can't sign up to be a truck driver and then say you don't want to drive trucks.
