  1. Interesting, I've never heard about this file copy before...
  2. Especially if each one comes with a cabbage patch kid.
  3. I'm going to be the first to say it. That's a terrible name. God, it sounds like something you'd give to a collection of porcelain dolls.
  4. Lovely! Mine's only sane but quirky high grade.
  5. I hadn't even noticed that they're dipping the gals in something. I do like your theory, kinda like garden gnomes only sexier.
  6. Somebody please explain what the heck is going on here?
  7. So evidently the ghoul is angry because she stole his hat.
  8. A few years ago I would have said Heritage, but it seems that everyone knows every auction house and there's no reliable way to predict which will do best -- but all will do well.
  9. Slowly but surely scanning my pulps. This one has just about everything going for it.
  10. No. Now I just want to find someone to overpay for the others that I have so I can buy more comics.
  11. Atlastales has this as Brodsky/Burgos. I wouldn't be surprised if it was them, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was someone altogether different.
  12. To be fair, that's the first time in over 20 years that I've seen a COL 2 for sale and the second time I've seen a HR 2. So I wasn't surprised they went crazy. Only disappointed that I didn't get one of them. But I've learned that I've never got a shortage of great books to buy, so overpaying by leaps and bounds just doesn't make sense.
  13. Those were pretty impressive. I really wanted the COL 2, but just couldn't push it more than I did (and I pushed it pretty good).
  14. I now feel better about some of my recent purchases. Geez.
  15. HP Scanjet 8300. It's incredibly easy to use. Pay for the scanvue software & you can get the settings to work on most books. 1st & 2nd gen holders can be a little wonky, as can yellow covers. But with a little tinkering it's pretty easy.
  16. Finally sprung for a scanner that does slabs, so I have a couple to contribute. I'm really not looking forward to scanning all of my raw books.
