  1. that would make it a 1991ish Fishburne...
  2. My brother and I used to watch the War Of The Worlds tv series that was in syndication in the late 80's. It didn't have much to do with its namesake, if I remember correctly, but it was pretty cool, and lasted for at least a couple of seasons. If this one sticks to the source material, it should be pretty cool.
  3. Checkerboard reject pancakes. Hubris regards Pat Sajak triumph under fig stake. Rumpus dig butter gut hug jump. Ralph pro titan yawn!!
  4. awesomecardsrus11 Won one of my auctions ($8 total) on November 29th... No contact, No pay, No nothin' Not the end of the world, but a real pain in the butt.
  5. I watched this today. I thought it was crass in parts and juvenile throughout. A good time zombie comedy.
  6. I was able to catch up with the show today. It's a great time, but I'm a little bummed out that there are no direct references to Army Of Darkness. Ash time traveled (or dimension jumped) and saved an entire kingdom, it seems like he'd be telling those stories A LOT.
  7. Frank Miller's Thoughts On Elektra Season 2 coming in 2016
  8. .... I thought there were only 465 Canadians now..... that the other 35 flung themselves in front of speeding trains when they ran out of cold beer..... GOD BLESS.... -jimbo(a friend of jesus) Canadians running out of beer,
  9. My wife and I watched the show from the beginning for the first 3 seasons and then we just couldn't take it anymore. The CW "teen drama", "teen angst" aspect of the show was just really boring/hairpulling for the both of us. There was a lot of that stuff (I love her/him, does she/he love me, I can't tell her/him this because of some silly reason, etc.) in the early seasons. I then came back to it in its last season and I was happy that I did. I really enjoyed the last season. It focused a lot more, imo, on the superhero aspect/ comic universe that I felt was lacking from the first few seasons. When I revisited the seasons that I had skipped, I realized I didn't miss much of the overall story, just a few cool moments here and there. Smallville wasn't a horrible show, and it can keep your attention for the most part, but it's not mindblowing by any means. It has a very different feel then the CW hero shows that are playing today.
  10. After watching the mid-season finale, I've learned that people fall down A LOT more than walking, decaying corpses.

    Gotham

Yes... except for the season 2 part. It's a bad show and it doesn't seem to be getting any better. I bailed 2 episodes ago.
  12. I think the inspiration for The Mummy was the opening of King Tut's tomb, the whole "curse of the pharaoh" thing. I don't know about The Wolf Man. Probably, like you said, derived from folklore and not an actual, printed story.
  13. He sounds so excited to be playing Negan. A great choice.
  14. Yes. Can't be. He's dead. Maybe there are zombies AND ghosts in this world?
  15. Totally agree. That was all kinds of awesome.
  16. Of course not, , he's just moved on to Quantico. We should have him check under some dumpsters for Glenn.
