  1. I'll sell you that book for $1. But you have to take the rest of the books in the series for $1 also.
  2. Guys let's not derail this thread please. I reported that guy's comment to have it removed.....
  3. The upside down variant is back from CGC! And they fixed it without charging me any extra - they are kings among men!
  4. The 9.2 is double what it was two years ago.....BIN sales are awful, the seller is capping what he/she would have received, especially when there were two sales at and above 3k already on the year.....
  5. Lol based on two ALL-TIME record sales in 9.6 and 9.2
  6. 650 pages isn't bad from start to finish....it's not like the moderns heating up thread - no one is going over all that again!
  7. No. . Way. My walkthrough books, which were shipped late last week from Canada have been graded and are in GC. Writing express and walk through on the package all over sure helped!!!
  8. I'm not sure where the joke comes in.....yes, most people max out the declared value - there is no benefit to declaring any amount under the maximum for a tier.
  9. I just shipped a batch of 14 books, two of them walkthrough and 4 of them express - they were received yesterday, so I'll update when I get the email acknowledgement by CGC.
  10. Why aren't you maxing out the declared value? That way if CGC damages or loses your books you're getting paid out more.
  11. Quoting an 11 year old post. Peter Pumpinkhead would be proud!
  12. Although the first print is technically in the sixties, the later printings fall into the Bronze age. Fed n Heads 1st print - low grade copy just sold for good chunk of cake!
  13. So instead of giving the guy more money, you let you friend pay him via dinner?! lol.
  14. What do you mean dumb , the fee isn't negotiable. It's either you get it graded or you don't. Next time you're about to type something think it over in your head for 20 seconds, then decide if that's what you want to say.
  15. We're lucky we can make these kinds of big generalizations about magic cards here on a comic forum without getting magic nerds raging on us, lol. I had played it when Revise was big, sold off all my pristine cards in 2005, what a mistake that was, lol. I bet those cards the OP has are very rare in that condition, that speaks volumes he/she submitted to a new card grading company!
  16. Beautiful book! Who's Michael McFadden, is that a pedigree collection?
  17. I'm just waiting for a seller to have a massive haul of books, invite someone over, have them spend all their time cherry-picking and grabbing books and then at the end say "thanks for telling me what I should look up! Have a goodnight!"
  18. Thanks I realized this when I did the submission....I'm thinking I might subtract a few books as I'm paying shipping to Canada which is atrocious!
  19. I'm going to market it as the upside-down variant.
  20. Has anyone submitted a wide variety of books across all services in one invoice? For example, I have 9 books going in for pressing and grading, but only six books for grading. On this invoice, I have 5 books in the Economy tier for grading and pressing, but I also have one book in the economy tier for just grading (let's just say it's a beater that won't be improved from a press and might get damaged more). Will CGC hold the grading only books aside to match them up with any books being pressed in that same tier?
  21. All the comics from this collection have outstanding colours! Go checkout the antique thread for some more photos....
  22. This isn't mine, it's an original owner book of a collection I'm selling on behalf of the owner. I'd love to have it to swap out my yellow/purple label, but that's probably not going to happen.....
