I for one am happy to see pons posting some nice books again...more for me to read! Bill, That is a real cool cover. I don't care for the Flash covers in general but the Hawkman covers are super cool! It would be a cool subset to collect go for it! finance me? emotional support....

I bet Charles Sultan and Lou Fine were both fans of Alex Raymond, especially the 1936 Water World of Mongo sequence in Flash Gordon. Great eye! what year was that out? BZ pointed this one out to me a couple of months ago. This page is from Funny Picture Stories #6, April 1937. Check out the 4th panel!!! A swipe of Flash Gordon for sure!!! interesting and entertaining!

I like the Pats...they have a few Gators on their team....and, given that the Pats only won by 3 last game reg seasons, sounds like Vegas is really trying to get some action at 12.5 to 14.5...can't believe that much early money is on the Pats...I would take the Giants an 11 and laugh all the way to the bank!

'darn' and 'fine' weren't involved.
