  1. First time laying eyes on this one. Very cool BZ v2/8 is one of the ones I still need...of course, I Think BZ posted all the ones I still need
  2. Moondog has been listing some esoteric GA first issues over in the Selling forum I just saw his Great #1..that is a super cool book (as is 2 and 3)...
  3. welcome to the sinking ship.... uh, I mean , club! (and by sinking ship, I mean sinking wallet!)
  4. Two words for you: Toro Bucky No offense gents, but I think you both lost this argument. or, in their case, they both won
  5. Bill, you must really miss that Heroic 2 you sold me...it's Sell it back to me. quit selling books! you always regret it
  6. amazing man 5 is tough unrestored ...period...but a 9.4 and Mile High to boot...WOW.... the cap is also mile high, had a little work done, but there are plenty of other 9.0 caps... so Aman 5 in a landslide for me!
  7. Ciorac will love to hear that young men are lining up for him! post of the day
  8. The book is on an upturn right now to be sure. Hey, I am biased. I think it is the coolest book of all time. Tec 27 and Action 1 are certainly more important and awesome off the charts, but Batman 1 just has so much bang for the buck. It is the one book I have to have at all times or my collection is incomplete. so you've got a copy eh? met a guy on ebay who has three, two of which are covers detached from the spine. gonna have to phone him tomorrow..... ciorac has probably had 20 copies over the years...it is his "baby"
  9. Cool Paul. Thanks for posting pics. CGC might go 6.0/6.5 with those corner creases on that Tec 10 Nice eye appeal otherwise. Love the green/purple logo which was not used to often in that color combo with many Pre-Bat Tecs....What other books does your friend have? I see that Tec 33 on the left side unfortunately, while the book might "feel" like a VF, technically, with a hard/small color breaking cr bottome right, and the 4 longer/lighter scratch creases? top right (unless those are not on the book), and the spine stress, this book might push 7.0 cgc wise, with a little bump coming from the white pages!... but, what is cool, is that they are "free" , so they are what they are, no need to speculate as I suspect they will remain free!
  10. sorry, I was too distracted , but this is a great looking copy!

  12. if someone pays more than $5K for a trimmed copy, then truly the end of the world is near
  13. Well a 2.5 trimmed EP sold for $3600 in May of 2007 so that should give you a rough idea yep, I was thinking south of $5K is most I would pay ($4200 + BP)
  14. not if you like seeing Batman mow people down with a machinegun I always like Sean. I like machine guns too!
  15. there is a restored 3.0 coming up on heritage that is trimmed...I suspect that will sell for less than a 1.0 blue rick
