    Sorry about the delay. It took me a while to figure out where I'd hidden this copy. I'd forgotten I had banished it to the Island of Misfit Comics because of its yucky condition. that is a wonderful book!

    and with white pages no less; my geek's got some funny books. and i don't think that book has a stamp on the back. don't think i ever knew this was the 'frisco. if you don't like that.... issue 37 is top 5 for me, in the entire run! I LOVE it

    Is the Bat #1 worth it though? I'd take it. that bat 1 just resold by the current owner (I guess) for $80K, so someone thinks it is worth it...I say it is a 7.0 at best, but what do I know

I didn't notice Working at a bank that has taken US$10BN of losses due to US sub-prime mortgages I can tell you that most banks are out of this market for good. Won't be buying as much in 2008 as my bonus will also be impacted ok, i will buy that tec31 from you, so that your kids don't go hungry

    the 57 is one of my FAVORITES covers, though, in the case, the story was not great...ok, not great...

    as a batman fan, I guess I would choose the bat 1...but, as discussed when the book was auctioned by heritage late last year, that book does not appear to me to be better than a 5.5 ? so, I think the price paid is excessive relative to the grade I consider it to be...a 9.4 MH is great, and I do like the DD v hitler book, but since I don't collect HG, I would still defer to bat 1 gator

    I had a low grade of that & have been looking for a nice one for some time. I love the Cole Funny Animal books. cool...never seen that one before

    Thanks Ryan, and the gang. I really enjoy the quirky golden age comics as much as anything. Nice pages don't hurt either. I like quirky GA comics I like nice pages I like green eggs and ham...
