  1. hello all... Batman 1 and tec 38 for obvious reasons, and I will "suprise" a few, that I agree with Fantastic 3 versus a batman/joker high grade....that book is a beaut rick
  2. hello all... absolutely stunning....great set! rick
  3. hello all... great set george...was nice seeing them in the auction, but grouped together...wow...I have decided to forgoe tec 2-26 (just don't have the funds or patience), so I will enjoy yours and win's rick
  4. hello all.. I choose the above... the copy I had back in the early nineties was unrestored, but had a thumb "punch" type rip in the middle of the book...like someone pushed their thumb down on the cover and pulled up, ripping around the thumb, but not totally seperating the piece rick
  5. I hope, but am not sure, that everyone realizes that my "extremely high demand" comment was sarcastic towards the Tough Kid Squad book only, and that my choice of Tough Kid Squad was sarcastic as well.....sometimes you can't tell on The Boards if you are taken correctly hello all.. SC4, I think most of us got it, but you are correct, if folks dont know your posting style, it can get "ugly" sometimes (as we have all seen in past threads, i am sure) rick
  6. hello all.,.. on the last 2, I like the action 28 (that cover appeals to me more) and I like the action 59... rick
  7. Don't be sad, it's in a good home. Here, I'll let you look at it whenever you want! hello all... wow, that is the nicest #4 I have ever seen! rick
  8. hello all... since I am starting my whiz run now (likely 1-25)... rick

  11. What is with showing the Batman # 1, I thought it was the Detective Comics Thread . hello all... just filling in space to even the pic out rick
  12. hello all... wow, that is an amazing looking copy!... rick
  13. hello all... ok, while this is not a "completed" shot, some of the books in the shot are leaving the family soon, so I wanted to get an intermediate pic, before the final run is assembled in one location...missing, are my tec 27 being restored by Matt Nelson, the tec 35 unrestored vg/fn from the metro auction (at cgc), and my tec 38 (secured, not yet here)...still would like an unrestored 28.29.36 and 38, but I am not sweating it... so, enjoy, but I still am looking forward to posting "the" shot, with the run complete 27-53... rick ps-threw in the bat 1 and tec 1, for fun
  14. hello all.. I think Metro has at least one Tec "harold" on their site (I view it daily, so I am sure it was there recently)... rick
  15. hello all...I believe these are 2 from the harold run.. .rick
  16. hello all... great shot of you and the tec 31....blue label, yum.... rick
  17. hello all... yes, good eye...I bought the book from Brent about a month ago...it was actually the "first" 29 I bought, but apparently my initial deal was with the "thief"...thankfully, that deal was thrawted before I lost any money, and Brent emailed me he had the book and we struck a deal...however, in between the "first" deal and brent getting, I had secured another copy, but felt obligated to go through with the deal with Brent...the third copy was bought with intention to trade/sell, etc (like the 3rd copy of the tec 31 I recently got for a trade)... thanks rick Did you buy that book the first time from Oliver Turner or from the guy on ebay? hello all... from the guy on ebay (I have his name and address, somewhere, but I don't think it was Oliver)....was he not the "thief" you refered too (correct me if I am wrong, I would like to get straight)...ultimately, Brent ended with the book and sold to me... thanks rick
  18. hello all... yes, good eye...I bought the book from Brent about a month ago...it was actually the "first" 29 I bought, but apparently my initial deal was with the "thief"...thankfully, that deal was thrawted before I lost any money, and Brent emailed me he had the book and we struck a deal...however, in between the "first" deal and brent getting, I had secured another copy, but felt obligated to go through with the deal with Brent...the third copy was bought with intention to trade/sell, etc (like the 3rd copy of the tec 31 I recently got for a trade)... thanks rick
  19. hello all.... outside of the 1.0 unrestored that I am having restored because, well, it just ain't pretty to look at, no...no luck....waiting on Metro to email info on the recently discovered copy, but have not heard yet a price, etc (would have to get real creative to finance any unrestored tec over a 3.0 anyway) rick
  20. hello all... yes, 2 of them will be available for sale or trade...I only want 1 each for my personal collection...I have 2 other potentially interested parties in a tec 29, but nothing firm yet... rick
  21. hello all... posted these in the "double" pleasure thread, but neglected to post in the Tec thread... thanks rick
  22. hello all... small amount of glue, I can concede/live with on a GA book IF it is from the binding process and not added after the fact...however, how does a book with ANY color touch get a blue? would still take the tec 33, but questions that need answers? rick
  23. hello all.... lovely, quite lovely....I don't own a single centaur, but maybe these times are a changing... rick
