I bombed the Red Dragon. I can't see how that cover tear can be a 5.5

a couple of color breaking creases on the corners are the most obvious limiting factors. Some spine ticks that break color. That would put this in the 6.0/6.5 range. What gives me pause is what looks like some discoloration starting to show around the edges on the back cover. If there's any tanning on the interiors of the cover, that could knock it down another grade. I've had a couple cases of light interior tanning that seemed to be the difference between what I though the grade would be, and what it was.
Thanks... there is some slight tanning along the edges on the back, but the interior looks pretty good to me. I like your grade... higher than I was thinking.

I'd say a 2.0 but I could see it getting a 2.5... such a great cover! I do think that's a lower spine roll that could be straightened a little.

I'll say a 1.0 to 1.5 ...
Great book!

I'll try it again

Thank you for the replies!

Thanks. I guess that's my concern... that I wouldn't get the certificate back and that CGC wouldn't notate the signature (which appears on the 1st page, not on the cover).

I recently picked up a comic from Lone Star that came with a COA inside a Mylar sleeve with the book. It was sealed with 'tamper' tape. Is it worth sending the whole thing into CGC unopened or should I pull the COA and just send the book in? I know that CGC will not issue a Signature Series label but will they list the name on the label if I include the certificate?

Thank you for the kind words!

I'll say a 6.0 but I'm probably a full grade off...

I'd say it's around 8.0 / 8.5

It wasn't on my radar, but now that this one fell into my lap.... it's on my radar now.
It should be on everyone's radar!

Absolutely beautiful book from wrap to color... a solid 4.5 for me!
-
Beautiful colors like you've noted but I'll say a 7.0 with no surprise if it hits 7.5.
-
That's a solid 3.0 for me.
