I'll take that as my cue.Awesome! I'm a big fan of Ras and Batman 244. (thumbs uIf you like that one, then you would really like the Brazilian Ebal or the Mexican Novaro, both printed just a few months after US original.
Here’s my Ebal.
I´m pretty sure someone here has the Novaro.

It is well known that both Ches and Iscomics are artificial life forms that need no sleep
-
was just looking in the right place at the right time. You know how my luck runs.
Im starting to think your "luck" is actually a inability to sleep! Your eyes on target far outweigh the time that a normal human who needs sleep and rest can produce.....
Well maybe that dedication coupled with a little luck sure can explain alot! (thumbs u

Very nice. (thumbs uSome recent aquisitions.... new sets started and old ones expanded..... -
I was just looking in the right place at the right time. You know how my luck runs.I got a few goodies in today. Then there's this one, a beautiful copy I have to say. Looks almost good enough to have come off the spinner rack just yesterday. The reasons I like it so much:
1) 3rd appearance of Jonah Hex
2) It has Neal Adams pencils with Bernie Wrightson inks
3) Great Joe Kubert cover
Another day and another round of beautiful Mexican Novaro's added to your collection Tim! I love that cover of Weird Western Tales man.... and on a doubley rare novaro its even more

IMO a much better investment than the ASM #700 variant.I posted this way back in this thread, but with the 1:200 Ditko, ASM 700 variant hitting the US stands last month, I thought this would be a good time to post it againAs far as I know, up until last month I was able to say that I owned the only comic in the world that had the rejected Ditko cover for AF 15 as a cover.
I really liked the sound of that
Printed in 1983, it was the first spider-man issue from Distri Editors, from a very small run of 10 issues.
It prints AF 15+ a Bonus Story of Strange tales 115

Any time sir. (thumbs uThanks! (thumbs u -
I think you'll be intrigued by what I end up subbing for ECCC.

It's #174.@lscomics: What´s the The Novaro Number for that Tomajauk? Adams andTomajauk must have been real popular down here in Mexico as all of these variants were reprinted in the 80's in the pocket-sized Serie Aguila. -
They published Green Lantern, Flash, Kamandi, Mister Miracle and The Demon under the Batman title. They were located in Mexico City and distributed to books to pretty much the entirety of Latin America.

They might be... but I don't think I'd really want to sell it.
I think I've got one of those somewhere but some guy wrote his name on the cover and it's in this weird plastic case.my greetings to you Mister Gustavo Medina...it is an honor to have the oportunity to talk to you...hi from the beautiful Buenos Aires !!!!Hello, Gonza_Araña! The honor is all mine and I think very fondly of Argentina since many of my Novaro variants have come to me via sellers in your beautiful country! :applause:
My very first Novaro variant came from The Land of the Pampas and the seller was incredibly nice and helpful!
Un abrazo!
I´ll buy the weird plastic case if the initials are N.A.

I'm a huge fan of Adams, Wrightson etc. and Cardy certainly deserves to be considered as equal company to those guys. The older I get, the more I appreciate Cardy. He did some fantastic work for DC. I put him up there with Kubert & Adams, for my money. -

Plus a lot of pretty pictures by Nick Cardy. (thumbs uSo "The Witching Hour" showcase is worth getting?
I waited a while to get the Witching Hour copy and definitely sweated. Word to the wise--grab 'em fresh!Just bought some Showcase books House of Mystery 1 & 2, House of Secrets 1 & 2, Secrets Of Sinister House and Ghost. They didn't have The Witching Hour so I will have to find that one later. Found out that most of these are OP and getting hard to find just as Sterlingcomics mentioned. Can't wait for them to arrive so I can start reading.BTW, Weird War Tales was just released on 1/8. Get it cheap on Amazon!
Absolutely. The comedy within is between the 3 witches (who host the stories) and Igor. Good stuff.
