  1. style is everything and RED is the epitome of style .... I can only imagine the reactions in Tombstone the day he sauntered into town wearing THAT getup GOD BLESS... -jimbo(a friend of jesus)
  2. Nice to hear a positive dealer story and I like both of those Jumbo's. This #165 is my only copy of that high number run.
  3. One of my favorite super hero books. What a beauty. The others aren't too shabby either.
  4. I used to hate photo covers with a passion but there are so many with great artist's (like this book) that I just had to give in. It looks like Jimmy borrowed one of Gene or Roy's shirts for this cover. Thank God the Lone Ranger didn't wear those things. He probably used the same tailor as they did. linky Nudie suits . Now I know who to blame. I'd never heard of Cohn before, thanks for the link.

  6. I like the Maneely Outlaw Fighters and the Kid Colt (even though it's nipple deficient). Scans look good too.
  7. Thanks Sqeggs and Scrooge. I like the woman in the upper panel of the Wild Western, she definitely looks better with the mask off.
  8. The first of the Girl Confessions (previously Girl Comics). A nice Hartley cover.
  9. Here's the Kit West story from Cow Puncher #4 for anyone interested.
  10. Slowly filling in the issues I need for this run.
  11. I really like this cover and a great looking copy too. I like how the action is breaking out of the "picture frame" background on all sides.
  12. Beautiful cover and a true Femme Fatale! This guy. It took me a while to look past the dancer but I like that guy and the blonde with the death stare.
  13. I like this Reed Crandall cover and his 10 page story that goes with it.
  14. That's a great looking copy. One of my favorite Baker covers.
  15. Thanks and I agree it's tough. I have a not so pretty looking 3.0 after 7 years of searching but would love to upgrade.
  16. Not as colorful as Marty's All Star ad but a little older. From Western Picture Stories #2.
  17. Great books fett. Definitely not ones you see every day.
  18. I like the look of terror on that guys face, nicely done.
  19. That's because Mama's got a squeeze box she wears on her chest... I was wondering when the first "squeeze box" joke would show up. And thanks Sqeggs, Scrooge and Mr.B.
  20. Nobody has more fun smashing a guys face with a helmet than Joe. One of my favorite Norman Saunders covers of the run.
  21. At least he's not wearing one of those crazy Gene Autry/Roy Rogers shirts.
  22. My only Straight Arrow, but I put more than a few on my want list after seeing the ones Scrooge posted a while ago. Plenty of great Meagher covers.
  23. An interesting choice of bandana for this guy.
  24. One of my favorite crime covers and a great looking copy.
