  1. At a 20% increase per year it would be worth $123,000 now if it sold for $24,000 back in 2010. That's pretty realistic I think.
  2. Young Allies #6 has a Captain America appearance! No Brainer for me!
  3. No Ditko Spidey page has been to auction in this country for over a year! There have been some private sales recently and every Spidey action page has sold in the 100-200k price range.
  4. There is usually a premium added to 1/3rd Ditko splash pages, all things being equal! The HA page is a really decent all out action Spidey page, however most people I've talked to think #10 is a bit of a dud issue.
  5. I hate to break it to you but your art is trimmed. It is now worth 10% of what you thought it was worth. Happy trails!
  6. I bought quite a few Mile Highs from Gary Carter from 1990-1995. Highlights include: Action Comics #25, 34, 35, 41, 61, 69, 70 & 102 Detective Comics #91, 109 & 120 Many Leading Comics, More Fun Comics & Star Spangled Comics. I had a few letters published by Carter & a Hitler cover article published in CBM #31.
  7. The other 5 games are $25 each and the Superman is $0 for this lot!
  8. 6 Nintento 64 games: Superman, Bio Freaks, Lamborghini, Forsaken 64, Golden Eye & Hexen. All 6 are in working order & complete in box with manuals. $125 + shipping for the lot. PPal & check only.
  9. I find it funny how 4 high grade copies make it the most common comic book key! In coins, 100,000 existing coins of an issue date is considered rare! We really don't know what rare is, do we?
  10. So I did a breakdown of all the Ditko Spider-Man art. I'm sharing this because some might find it useful or at least interesting. There are 42 comic books total with Ditko Spider-Man art: Amazing Fantasy #15, ASM #1-38, ASM Annual #1 & 2 & Strange Tales Annual #2 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko pieces: 897 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko covers: 42 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko pages: 826 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko pin-ups: 29 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko pages without Spider-Man on it: 152 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko pages with Spider-Man on it: 674 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko pages with Spider-Man on it in action or in battle: 531 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko full splash pages with Spider-Man on it: 45 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko 1/3 splash pages with Spider-Man on it: 87 Total number of Spider-Man Ditko 1/4, 1/2 & 2/3 splash pages with Spider-Man on it: 13
  11. I had a Young Allies #4 that was a 7.5 that got pressed to a 9.2. I bought it as a 9.2 and sold it to a dealer as a 9.2. He pressed it and it came back a 9.4. Double, triple and quadruple pressings happen all day, every day. Many pressers press a book twice when the 1st press does not get them their desired results.
  12. Venom Lethal Protector #4. 1st appearance of Scream (female version of the Venom symbiote). https://www.comicartfans.com/galleryPiece.asp?Piece=1574461&GSub=0&GCat=25394&UCat=25394
  13. I'm shocked how low the Captain America Comics #23 San Francisco Copy went for. 9.2 guide is $8500 & it sold for less than guide! For a San Francisco? Crazy! The previous owner wanted $5000 for it back in1999 or so... and sold it!
  14. I thought about buying this in SD last year. Very cool cover, but I was told the dealer had this a quite while with no takers.
  15. Arrival dates such as those on MH & SF copies I would not downgrade for. Names are a little trickier. Larson's name on the cover is quite unobtrusive, so I would not downgrade in 9.6 or less. If his name was written in huge pen across the cover I would! Recil Macon loved his name & wrote it all over the place on many of his comics! I would downgrade for multiple names written throughout the book.
