  1. Definitely one of the nicer 7.0, quite possible. Highest price paid for an old label 7.0 sold 132K,
  2. Too many numbers, understandable. Perhaps this 8.0 SS may sell 250-275K.
  3. The highest public auction is 261k, next 235K, and the pre-chipped sold 218K on the CL exchange.
  4. If you look at some of the other top GA keys the last five years: Action 1, Detective Comics 27, Batman 1, Superman 1, Marvel Comics 1. These books in .5--3.5 range has increased at a much higher rate that the mid to higher grade. Entry level copies "to own a copy" are in much higher demand and more affordable. Perhaps, the mid to higher grade will play catch-up once these entry level copies becomes more costly. Of course, these entry levels mega keys are not more affordable for everyone.
  5. The 2.5 sold for 95K The entry level for super golden age keys .5--3.5 will command a higher FMV per price point. Perhaps in time with lower grades increasing rapidly; hence, the mid to higher grade will expand higher as well.
  6. Here is the ebay fee link for ebay store and category. Max is $750.00 with strong selling/practice performance on ebay. https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/selling-fees/store-fees?id=4122
  7. The Action 1 is listed in the collectibles category and I'm sure Sparkle City has a decent track record and meeting ebay performance, so their max ebays fee should be no more than $750.00 for this item.
  8. The grading fees on this Sparkle City Action 1 would be $5000 the max. This copy represents so nicely raw. This is the second Acton 1 Sparkle City have auction on Ebay and the last copy was in 2012 a 7.0 restored with married pages (1st wrap). Perhaps this current Action 1 on ebay the consignor decided to have it auction raw.
  9. Action 1, Tec27 and AF15, has always held it's ground.
  10. Three Actions 1 conserved sold the last few years. Comiclink 7.0C 450K, ComicConnect 8.0C 461K and I 5.5C 393K, Any complete Action 1 conserved, restored, married will command 200K+.
  11. Three Actions 1 conserved sold the last few years. Comiclink 7.0C 450K, ComicConnect 8.0C 461K and I 5.5C 393K, Any complete Action 1 conserved, restored, married will command 200K+.
  12. No doubt the competition will be fierce for this copy. A few years ago, a voldy coverless copy sold Heritage and the coverless copy sold on CC missing the first page/wrap, so those buyers may seek this book. Not to mention any other holders of coverless copy. The cover is where the huge value is, and it will be interesting if it sells high 100's and may sniff 200K.
  13. Rob's insight is warranted, but I mentioned in a post in the past that a minimum Action 1 6.0 blue or a Detective 27 6.5 blue are million books now. From seeing the two books results that ended at CC recently, the Action 1 6.0 is there, but the Detective 27 6.5 blue not yet. The two books had tremendous growth the last five years with double digits ROI is unsustainable. Perhaps, this is a breather for the big two and normal returns is expected. I was very excited to perhaps witness the next possible million dollar book. I agree, entry level for the two is closing the gap on higher grade copies. The mentality to own either trophy books is a privilege for bragging rights.
  14. With three different Action 1 conserved copy selling at 393K, 450K, 461K in the last one year and a CGC 9.4 super restored for 500K recently, it's actually performing quite well. Perhaps, if you compare to the Heritage 5.5 unrestored, one may be disappointed. In addition, two 5.0's unrestored sold in the north of 650K+ three years ago, so this recent 5.0 unrestored did okay.
  15. Agree, it's already in record territory and still going.
  16. Indeed. I was pointing this copy out....which was reholderd as a voldy and the page quality got upgraded to cream/off-white pages.
  17. Great too Peter. Also, the 3.0@$194,543 on ComicConnect 2012 sold later as a 3.0 voldy a few years later for around 300K
  18. If the CC 5.0 copy hits between 850K-1Mil, I bet the 4.0 Heritage copy will fetch 650K+.
  19. Besides the Detective 27 CGC 5.0 Metro sold for 710K about a year ago (not auction oriented) and has better eye appeal than the Hakes 5.0 copy, isn't this a record price for a 5.0 in an auction format?
  20. Glad you were happy with the sell and perhaps this shall be wise decision on your part. Time and time again, SC22 has been a tough book in 7.0+, and your landmark 8.5 sell definitely lifted the spirits for the higher end market for this book.
  21. At one point in 2009 SC22 was a contender. Glad to have this book along side with my SC22 7.5
