  1. If a incomplete Action 1 .5 brittle fetches 110 over three years ago, this 1.8 restrored brittle should have no problem hurdling pass 200K.
  2. Somewhat true, for the market can go in cycle or shift. If you read my last quote to DarkKnight: True, but if you bought any big keys before 2008 you are doing just fine. An example, if you bought a SC22 in 2010-2012, you were under performing not until the later of 2015 . But again, the market is so "first appearance" driven now, so group of characters forming a team; such, as Avengers 1 or BB28 doesn't have the appeal as it use to. On the other hand, Fantastic Four 1 and X-men 1 contains many first appearances which out shines Avengers 1 or BB28. Another example would be X-Men 94 which lost a lot of luster to Giant-Size X-Men 1 and Hulk 181.
  3. So an Action 1 or Detective 27 both with complete cover entry .5 should garner 100K+ or either book complete with the front cover (can have missing back cover) should command 6 figures easily. I bet the Acton 1 example Knightsfold mention can easily fetch 200K+ in this market environment.

  5. I was also very impressed with the 8.5 results. The 7.0 wasn't to shabby either, it perform 60% over the last public auction 7.0 over 3 years ago.
  6. Comiclink Results: Showcase 22 CGC 8.5 $64575 CGC 7.0 $16350 CGC 1.8 Signature Series $1550 At this pace, perhaps it's reclaiming its strong position as the second Top DC SA key.
  7. The movie didn't hit it out of the park didn't help BB28. The book still doing well if you bought 5 years+ ago.
  8. For that 550k money on the voldy 9.4, would one want the 462k CGC 8.0 conserved that sold a few months ? Seems like the CGC 8.0 conserved copy was a bargain or perhaps mega golden age keys are on the uptick again.
  9. Really gorgeous copy! Why eager to flip so soon?
  10. Wow..that strong price for a 6.5. What would you think a 7.5 blue label can fetch these days?
  11. From the listing it states 550K sold. I just saw it today, so maybe sold during the weekend?
  12. Five years ago a SC4 6.5 blue label could be had for around 12-15K. Congrats on holding the book this long.
  13. I would assume it's IGB It sold today https://www.comicconnect.com/bookDetail.php?id=755924
  14. AF15 has been a major lucrative flipping book for many and reap great profits for long time holders. Loads of copies being sold by profit takers and many has been absorbed. The large move has been made, and the next big move up will be anyone's guess.
  15. So it sold, but I'm sure not at that top 1.7 Mil, they did mention taking offers on the site.
  16. +1, but will be interesting if it will give Superman 1 the run for the money
  17. Try this link. Full green $29990 sold https://www.ebay.com/sch/downhome711/m.html?item=312023563193&hash=item48a60dbbb9%3Ag%3AwAIAAOSw43haMGh8&LH_Complete=1&rt=nc&_trksid=p2046732.m1684
  18. Can't wait to see you get your TEC27 one day. Saw you had three major pre-robbins pick-up this year...astonishing and well done!
  19. wanna bet. A 3.0 Action 1 CGC 3.0 sold for almost 500K about two years ago.
  20. The Link 2.5 would sold for more if it wasn't the tape and not a true 2.5 in this current CGC standard. An Action 1 CGC 2.5 in good paper (no brittle) will command over 500k+.
  21. Hope this ends the current debate and let the book pause and refreshes.
