The last SC4 7.5 with sold for $12600 which is under guide and SC4 in 6.0 for about $10K which is a anomaly. I feel SC4 upside is limited, until a movie or interest of the character picks up dramatically.

I agree, it's such a scarce book and if demand picks up, prices will rise. There are 16 SC4 copies 7.5+. 32 copies of BB28 in 7.5+ and 15 copies of SC22 in 7.5+. SC4 is scarce, but SC22 is more scarce in 7.5+. That is why I added a SC22 7.5 to my fund holdings.

- maybe you missed the thread in comics general pizzing all over the trailer I liked it. Granted, some might say we are a bit biased But the very fact that they finally have the movie technology to even attempt doing a film about one of our favorite comic characters, has got to be worth seeing. I can't wait to see Flash on film, as was prophesized on the cover of Showcase #4. I may be biased. First serious DC character other than Superman and Batman with a flick. In fact,with it also being 3D, this will attract a much larger audience. Let's all hope this will bring the next generations and make GL a household entity. Sounds your first love is Flash <3 or maybe Wonder Woman <3 Maybe with the success of GL will lead to the Flash and Wonder Woman.

That 7.5 was nice. and Flash105 let it slipped away.

I bought my first Showcase 22 in 1987, a cover less copy for $17.00. My second one was the 5.0 in 1988 for $250 (serious bidding against a 30 year+ maybe you're listening )and I did win.One full months of paper route money. Green Lantern is just too popular right now. Flash is a wild card and doesn't hurt to make a bet.

That sale was a good one for the seller. The seller double his/her return. Looks like the buyer is on a spending spree. Also "I got to have it", just like the PGX SC22 7.0 currently bidding for $10K . I was valuing the the SC4 6.0 at $7-8K. Since Ebay has such a large audience, prices can be fished. Thumbs up for this seller for holding out so long.

This is why SA DC are way more fun. You can chase for years to find HG copies of some books. With SA Marvel, you can put a HG run of any title together in 24 - 48 hours if you have a big enough cheque book. Yeah...when HG DC because available xxx. SA DC keys in 7.0's are like Marvel 8.0's. Marvel 9.8 is like DC 9.4.

Yes, more SA DC in lower grade. Supply of early SA DC dwarfs Marvels SA, but Marvels has greater demand since it's more mainstream right now.

Marvel is price xxx times and DC has xxx collectors, but DC has ---supply. Marvel is fully valued right now.

Have you ever seen an AF15 in 5.0 like that with white pages? I was very very close to pulling the trigger, but wanted to get a back cover scan first.. It never came so oh well and the kicker is it was a "chip free" Hulk 1 white pager--very impressive (thumbs u I don't blame you, you just don't want to plow head first unless you know the full content. It just looks too good for a 5.0...but no chips is a GREAT plus.
