  1. lmao why are you asking us? You do know we don't work there, right? Call them yourself or tag Ryan from CSG here in the forums and ask him.
  2. As I replied to someone else, you are over-complicating things and I'm simply not going to argue with you or anyone else about it. If you don't like CSG or the way they are doing things then just move on to another company. Have a great day.
  3. This is exactly what I am doing. Some of them are for my PC, too, and I literally don't give a flying F what they look like in the green label slabs so it's not worth it to pay as little as $5 to get them re-slabbed.
  4. It depends on what got a 9.5 Just like other companies, they don't just take the average of the 4 subgrades. Different subgrades are weighted differently.
  5. Bruh just stop. It's not as complicated as you are trying to make it. No one is getting screwed here with the grades. If anything, they are doing you a favor by just automatically upping all 9.5s to 10s. In terms of what you are freaking out about, there is a formula that CSG has that weights the different subgrades differently. That's it. Like I said, it's not complicated.
  6. THIS. Was at the LCS yesterday and literally everyone said the same thing. It's a Perfect 10, which implies inherent 10s across the board. Having the difference on non-Perfect 10s would have made a huge difference.
  7. Dangggggg Ok prob gonna have to go ahead and send in some stuff with a Standard order
  8. I couldn't disagree more with the resell aspect, and 30-40% of PSA value is just not true, and I have the spreadsheets to prove that. Like anything, you just have to know wtf you are doing. I have sold well over 400 CSG cards and have made a killing. I've taken a loss on roughly 25 or so, but I'm talking $2-3 loss on each one and they were graded between 6-8, compared to literally multiple multiple thousands of dollars in sales through a variety of marketplaces (eBay, StarStock, in person deals, and more). AT $10/card to grade it's really a no-brainer once you figure out what to turn into them to resell.
  9. Both of what you are offering for free here is already done by numerous, already established websites, and honestly it seems to me to be poor taste to be hyping up your new website on this particular forum. Like, I don't have a problem with people hyping themselves or their businesses up, but this just comes across to me as spammy, forced regurgitation bordering on cringe.
  10. Not anyone else's fault that you are sending in cards that people don't value as high as you did. You said in another thread that you got junk grades, meaning you don't know how to pre-grade, as well. Again, that's not anyone's fault but yours.
  11. You just graded cards that people don't value very much. That's on you, not the grading company.
  12. Hey Glen, I don't know their specific grading verbiage for the back, but I can tell you with certainty that they grade the back very tough. CSG is, in my opinion, by far the toughest grader on the market right now and part of that is bc they go after the back pretty harshly. If you want the true grade of the card then go with CSG, but if you want a higher grade from a company that doesn't ding for the back, SGC is your go-to. They are extremely lenient on the back. PSA is pretty lenient too.
  13. Not saying i don't agree with you, but I think you might even be selling it short a bit, bc not only does it say the POP of the card, but it tells you how many else are in the same grade that your card got, plus they tell you how many cards in total are graded higher! As someone who sells a lot of cards on eBay this is genius and much needed and SUCH a time saver.
  14. For someone who clearly has no idea what they're talking about, it seems pretty unwise to throw around terms like "stupid" etc. It is nowhere near industry standard for companies to do any sort of prep work before they grade your cards. The only company that I'm aware of that does anything like you're suggesting is SGC, which will wipe off a fingerprint for you when you send them in. With that said, they are YOUR cards, not theirs, therefore they bear no responsibility to do or not do anything to, again, YOUR cards. I just can't wrap my head around the amount in which online forums like these have allowed people to just come in and spout off any kind of *wrong* nonsense with 100% confidence. It is *wild*!
  15. It depends on why you are getting the card graded or buying it. If it's something for your PC then things get really subjective and you can pretty much do what you want, but for investment terms nothing beyond what you said in terms of supply/demand matters, really. The fewer cards that are graded of a particular card (esp cards that are already numbered to begin with), assuming it's an in-demand card, will absolutely push up the value, generally speaking. 16. Thank you so much! I'm going to be putting quite a few on eBay and as i want to list the population of each card I'll definitely be able to give you a comprehensive list
  17. I can tell you that CSG grades the backs pretty harshly so I'd be expecting a 6, possibly 6.5.
  18. I've had seven orders through CSG and I have gotten a 10 in every single order except one (which was not a bulk order so less chance of getting one), so maybe be a little more discerning with the cards and you'll have better luck next time!
  19. it's definitely not good. Only thing I could say is that they prob got so swamped with orders when they first opened (not saying this as an excuse) - literally right before PSA shut down - that a lot of bulk prob got misplaced in the mix.
  20. Man I just got some cards back from them and am having the same issue on some of the thicker slabs. I've just put them in SGC sleeves for now but the "fit" isn't good for my OCD
  21. Prove it was shill bidding with evidence please.
