They'll honor it if they can, sure, but as it says on any website for a company that grades cards, even when it said "40 days" that is no guarantee. So when you say "I wonder will they honor it" it's not a matter of honoring anything, as they get themselves out of that liability to begin with by saying, "No guarantees on turnaround time, these are just estimates."

The sets are not of different size. It's just that quality control in the late 80s was absolute dog. I feel like anyone who is grading cards should know that beforehand, honestly. The dimensions of the cards they accept is printed plainly on their website. You have to measure old cards you are sending in bc there is a minimum and maximum size they go by and bc it's measured with their AI I assume it is to the nth degree also.
