great book!!!Just arrived about 15-20 minutes ago:Nice
now this is worth another quoting...niccccccce
-
nice
i have given up on trying to get a copy...seem like I kept looking for the past 10 years and each time, I thought the price was crazy and then the next time I look, the price was crazier so in hindsight, it wasn't so crazy last year or 2 years ago, etc..
-
neat...I didn't know about the costume issue. yes, 9.6 and below for this copy is quite plentiful. I think the reason I chucked my copies in a box and forget about them was I tried to sell them for $10 a piece and no one cared to buy them when I had them for sale.
, if my copies had that miswraped with the white spines, I think I may have a couple of 9.8 here but the well centered cover took the hits at the spine
-
they are worth that much in 9.8? sheesh..dug 3 of them out and they are all in the 9.6 range...no way 9.8, just 1 or 2 tiny dings on the spine that broke colors but that are enough to prevent the books to get 9.8...the yellow color made it hard to see the ticks but they are there...here are 2 of my copies

I didn't think there was any demands for Conan 44. I have 3 or 4 copies in the 9.6 range or better sitting is a box somewhere.
-
thanks...look like I will be sending the book to Desert.
-
he is not even famous enough to be on wiki
-
then it is truly overpriced
-
general question...if all I want is Stan's sig on a splash page of a book, I still need to go thru Desert Wind right? or if Stan is signing and I can stand in line or pay someone to stand inline at a con?

thanks...I had it tuck away with all my hulk annuals for years until I stumbled across this thread.

geesh...I figured if I live long enough, everything books I own will be keys

For my personal experience, it was pretty tough trying to get the 227. Getting the 232 was relatively easier.
I think, at present moment, its pretty much the supply that is supporting the price on 227. In the long run, the price on 227 will probably slowly ease down.
It is the opposite for me. I have had a monster difficult time trying to find a nice raw high grade 232 for years now. I found a few 227 but I haven't had any luck with 232.
Of course I can always just go and buy a 9.2 or 9.4 slab and be done but the hunt is fun

PFFFT! People pay stupid prices for stupid things. Stupid!
you expect any less from comic book collectors
-
ok, so I am backed from spring break and busy scanning but starting this weekend, I will list 150 raw books...mostly individual instead of lots like the last sale thread.
mostly bronze
ASM, FF, Hulk, Conan, Nova and many of the same titles you all have seen in the previous sale thread...mostly high grade from 9.2 to 9.8 raw.
-
Good grief...I have a copy somewhere I bought off the rack but I am too lazy to dig thru my boxes to find it
-
dare I say I like the color scheme of this version more than the original
-
will this be for sale?
-
i am loving that Ghost Rider #1
-
nice (thumbs u
I always dig the Inhumans and at one point was trying to collect all of their appearances in the FF books.

KILLA
this book is hard to find in 9.6 and 9.8 because most of them didn't have miswrapped white spine....more common to find well centered copies, thus harder to find ultra high grade books...similar issue with Bat 227 in my opinion.
