Although he did remove the book from his sig line as soon as this thread started. Wonder why that might be? I would cut the owner some slack... I'd guess the pulled book was an attempt to head off the mob of torches headed towards the seller until he had a chance to respond. Not too hard to figure out the seller's ID from the clues here. Very disappointed at the events presented in this thread and I do hope the seller will weigh in soon. Jon, I agree that the buyer might have been totally unaware of what went down. However, he sure knew when this thread started and he decided, whether with a nudge from the seller or not, to remove the book from his sig. At that point, isn't he 'aiding and abetting'? Ya i figured since he put it there at first that he didnt know the book was sold to someone else right? But now...... who knows he must have figured it out now

I know the participants. I'm just waiting for a fair explanation before weighing in. Is "I got a better offer and took it" a fair explanation? Because all word-smithing aside, that's what it's probably going to boil down to. I 100% know thats what he did to me but if he had said listen someone offered me more money (granted its the wrong thing to do also) I would of been like, well i cant do that or ok ill get the rest of the money.

No i PMed BATMAN and said i know whats going on and i dont blame him. I actually really like him The paypal says its being refunded through paypal and will be available on Monday

It is and isnt about the money meaning im happy im getting a refund (hopefully by monday) but i just really wanted the book and for me the money didnt mean mess right now

Yes its the book he only had 1 Tec 37 now today he had 2. The second one had tape stains on both sides of the cover. Plus i sent a PM to the seller saying i saw it in his sig pics and within minutes it was changed, but still no response from the seller to me. Im not trying to rip up peoples reputations but i do feel i was wronged 100%, I honestly didnt think this many people would respond

OK OK it was me i had a deal with someone (un named at the time) and had originally gave a $500 deposit and within almost a week wanted to meet in person to get the book, if that couldnt be done i would have paypal the rest (we said it would be cool to meet in person). I have reponded many times to the seller in wich im ignored again he said "quote actually saw stuff on the book that wouldnt give it the grade I expected so I didnt want to hold your money and I issued a refund right away, I am sorry but Ill explain more another day, I am dead tired right now." I responded with i dont care i want it anyway and if it were money we could make it work. Never did i beat him up about price at all he told me a price i agreed. This happened last night, I come home today and see the book it someones sig pictures (Yes im 100% sure its the book). I was nervous to come out and say all this and being good friends with Dan he started the thread, Im also new so i was nervous people would not believe me over a reputable person on the boards Im just really pissed this book ment alot to me to owne something like this and maybe its weird but it gives me a crappy feeling in my stomach ( ive barely slept for 2 weeks waiting to get this book i know im weird but ) thanks for all the advice i greatly apreciate it

Finally i aquired my holy grail of comics, Took me forever to get this ive been saving for years. I didnt wanna take it out of the mylar to further damage it. This book is worth tons and tons of money, like almost as much as action #1 right?
