  1. Need to see this now I will have it in a couple weeks.
  2. My San Diego copy: Batman Adventures 12 9/93 D.C. Comics Signature 9.8 WHITE SIGNED BY BRUCE TIMM ON 7/18/13 & PAUL DINI ON 7/20/13
  3. There might be a tiny blip in interest, but not enough for a long term hold, unless it is a good book. Comic books by people who are media stars first (as opposed to comic book writers who later become media stars) have a horrible track record for both long term value and for being even passable reads. Kevin Smith and Joss Whedon are the only two who have been passable, and they both wrote scripts for a living as opposed to being actors or TV "personalities."
  4. Isn't the Duela from Batman Family 6 the daughter of Harvey Dent? This Duela does not appear to be his daughter. I asked the same question. Her name is Duela, but she is not Duela Dent. The story I was told is that they have shown her family background in one of the early appearances and she is not a Dent.
  5. It needs to develop fast. I couldn't even get all the way through the 3rd episode. I enjoy watching ICarly with my nieces more.
  6. I felt it was only facepalm worthy. Nice to see joecgc go the extra mile!
  7. BA12 is a legit modern key. In my mind, it is the modern key right now. I have had 5 WD #1s and I have my 1st BA12 coming back from SD soon.
  8. I pick up every high grade copy that I find. And I don't find many.
  9. During a reholder they also replace the inner well and the micro chamber paper as well. It is true that there would be no point in getting a reholder if they have yet to correct the issue. I made this quite clear in several previous comments. You are wrong about this. Re holder is only the outer shell. If they have to open the inner well it gets regarded.
  10. After deciding to respond to my original comment more than 35 days after I posted it; and only after I originally made a statement unrelated to what you mentioned, you now state that you have no idea what we are arguing about? Your statement above already perfectly clarifies that you don't know what we are discussing. My simple question is then why did you respond to begin with? Obviously, both the original intent and resolution have escaped your grasp. (1) Who cares? (2) You don't get to decide who does and doesn't respond to your posts, no matter how old they are. (3) This ridiculous bulldog-like tenacity to try and get Beyonder to engage you about what his "agenda" is takes away from the real discussion, and it is dumb. (4) THIS WILL NOT BE A RE-HOLDER ISSUE. They will either have to regrade the books, or change their entire stance about re-grading books when they have to remove them from the inner well.
  11. I don't think "re-holder" is the right terminology. Re-holders work for the correction of errors or damaged outer cases. This is neither. This is a defective inner well. Thus, it is not a simple re-holder, and adds another layer of complexity to the matter.
  12. mid season break under 1500 maybe. market is crazy. but no way ba 12 will hit 2 g's. most harley fans would rather use that money at hot topic or improving their cosplay outfit. So, in your opinion, the people driving up the prices on BA12 are Harley cosplayers? Interesting theory. Right now, I would rather have four copies of BA 12 than one WD 1.
  13. For that price you can buy a decent copy of many 1st appearances which are far more appealing and liquid than a 3rd print of a comic with no discernible story value. One thing I like whenever I see something like this though; there are some collectors with serious money invested in this hobby which gives me hope for the day I decided to part with my collection. One thing I like is when what you collect is awesome, and what someone else collects sucks.
  14. Whether you listen to the folks here, or learn the hard way, you'll find that it is definitely worth the time and effort to tape off your windows.
  15. The thread is called "The Law of Unintended Consequences" or something like that. It is chock full of all kinds of info on all the printings.
