  1. There is no question that that guy was Harold or someone like Harold. It is definitely a scam. And while I don't actually wish HarvDoss any financial repercussions, I go right up to the line and ALMOST get there. My impression was that Andy (as more of a professional retailer than most of us) was "taking one for the team." He would get the guys paypal information or shipping addy or whatever and then get with the Cybersleuth TeamTM and figure out who he was and get his money back (if any was exchanged) through the CC company or Paypal. Maybe I am giving Andy too much credit, but I doubt it.
  2. Encourage him to get one more strike What happens if another strike is given? via Imgflip Meme Maker
  3. You guys make me want to post an "Oh, Snap!" every other post.
  4. I'm going through all of this for the first time. I also want to see this fire pit. Part of me would like to imagine that it is 200ft by 2ft to create a wall of fire across the front of the property to scare trespassers like a fire moat. Even a 40 square foot fire pit is big enough to set up a "walking over hot coals" for your next Hawaiian pig roast party. A 400 square foot fire pit has another name - a crematorium.
  5. The Chewbacca defense has been eclipsed by the "Japanese Maple no Bobcat couple hundred foot paver project defense."
  6. I am pretty sure I witnessed one for SS. Did we add Peterson or Bastian to yours and Yellow Label it, Michael?
  7. I've been to three Wrestlemanias and a goat contest, and this is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.
  8. Eagerly anticipating next defensive rant . . .
  9. It seems like you want the Boards to do something that you didn't do yourself. You whiffed on the process of doing a time payment deal (and on the process of nominating someone to the PL) and now you want the collective to take care of it. At the end of the day, you are worried that he is going to win it for less on Ebay. That would be a terrible outcome because it would validate (to him) and embolden his awful behavior and cause you economic harm (which you don't deserve). If you are not going to out the guy, please take from this that you need to do non-refundable deposits for time deals with people that you don't know.
  10. Wow. Nice lynchmob that you guys have instigated here. Kind of obscene, actually.Considering NONE of you but one guy has actually bought anything from me.He isn't saying I did him wrong, either.YOu all....KPR and Harvey with his 9.9 digs (way to pull up totally unrelated mess, the pair of you two.)Congrads on making me look like a . He'll ( the buyer) get what he paid for. It's really nice how I am being called, virtually a lying slimebag, when I have not actually screwed anyone over.Check my kudos thread and the 102 positive feedbacks I have on eBay, not this seething pile of totally unrelated anecdotes that you have went on some kind of full on rage fest, right here. And also. cheers for slandering my character, when you have had absolutely NO DEALINGS with me whatsoever. All I can offer the buyer is an apology and a full refund OR the book. I'll ship this slab out in the morning, as the buyer has not told me that he wants a refund. Jimmers will get his free Sick magazine shipped out then, as well.I'll throw in a couple other Sick free mags with the RAK for Jimmers. No hard feelings on my end,KPR. I hope that Jim and Juan don't hold any grudges, either. My old grand pappy used to say - "do you know what happens when you back a rat into a corner and shine a light in its eyes? It's gonna come out biting."

Not a very cool use of "data." 0.5 ) Sgnt series/Incomplete/Signed/Remarked Herb Trimpe - - (1) $350 - $350 Apr-2015
  12. Looks like the rumors of the tempest in a teapot being over were greatly exaggerated.
  13. Well, that was a pleasant conclusion to the October 22 tempest in a teapot sweepstakes. Kudos to all involved!!
  14. The completely innocent "congratulations" posts have already begun. Next comes: "What a steal! PM sent!"
  15. There was a movement at one point to have the holiday/raffle put on the list but others felt that those types of events didn't coincide with the Probation/HOS rules etc so shouldn't be there and someone can start a new list if they felt inclined. Notions of the PIF/Giving threads were also brought up (guys that claimed items, received them and never sent their promised items). I think that was 2 years ago when there was a huge number of individuals that received but never sent that year. Iceman is right on from what I can remember. Someone tried to nominate Bathedinflames for claiming and receiving his PIF but refusing and laughing about not sending out his item. That is where the Junk Donkey name was coined, though surprisingly it was for the nominator and not so much the nominee. PIF was told to keep their Junk Donkey problems in their own thread. The counter argument was that if you will lie and cheat someone in a giving thread, what makes one think they would hesitate in a sales thread. There was a lot of discussion about the nature of the P-I-F, whether there was any way to enforce an "obligation" to Pay It Forward (seems a non sequitor now as it did then), the differences between a contractual transaction for the sale of goods, and whatever the P-I-F is, and how gummed up the lists would get with different sorts of not-sales transactions. Many thought a separate list was a good idea. Many thought I was an individual_without_enough_empathy.
  16. Yeah I really expected to see a link to a transgression on your part. I wasn't hoping to see one, but that link was misleading. But there were junk donkeys long before Jeff became Junk Donkey.
