    You don't pay taxes on things you sell at a loss. Example, you buy an omnibus for $50 and sell it for $25. You don't owe taxes on that $25. Of course, if you're audited you'll probably have to prove to the IRS that you bought it for $50 and not $5 at a flea market.

    I finished the first season a couple weeks ago. I'm a latecomer to the Asimov Foundation series but I read the first three books and thoroughly enjoyed them. The TV series so far has not captured the imagination like the novels did. I read that the series creator has said he will need 8 seasons to tell the whole tale he has in mind. I don't think he's going to get there.

    I'm a big EW fan but I don't see myself kicking in to get some product made. Maybe I just don't understand, but isn't Kickstarter for the guys in the basement to get their creation out to a wider world, not for an established company to give you some product?
