I've got one of each and will be leaving them raw. These comics are so well produced it's hard work to get them in less than pristine condition.

I enjoyed Timothee Chalamet in the King recently. It was a pretty good period flick about Henry V, a little long but I had no problem with his acting. Looking forward to watching this attempt at Dune on streaming at some point. I was a big fan of the books and have re-read them many times.

The reality is that there is a strong trend in the market to make cheap modern newsstands a thing so that otherwise cheap stock can be sold for dear. If it were purely about the relative scarcity driving collectibility and value you would also see those market forces manifesting with the late Bronze Age direct editions which should be equivalently hard to find as late modern newsstands. But you don’t really see that, at least I do not. Where is the “show us your Bronze directies” thread?

Actually had a chance to go through the rest of these sets today and was surprised to find that four of them have double Deadpool cards and a fifth one also has a third card from the set in there with two Deadpools. Pretty cool.

Found this New 52 promo kit today for $5. There’s a full size JLA poster there and some promo materials plus the three issues shown. Maybe there were other ones in there but that was all that was present
