  1. Best find of the weekend was a Supreme 67 (Omni-man crossover) for $1!
  2. A good reason to go pick up my Bad Idea pull list books this weekend!
  3. Found 8 sets of five X-Force 1 issues at a garage sale yesterday. One had a little something extra in it
  4. I found a couple dozen Claypool Elvira's between 90-125 for a buck each today!
  5. Some recent dollar box finds, got the full set of Hell on Earth. Plus this non-Groo Day of the Dead issue.
  6. I'm running into a fifth short box of Marvel newsies post-2000 until the end in 2013.
  7. Don't blame me, I voted for Bill and Opus. Was that the Reagan/Carter election or Reagan/Mondale? I can't recall.
  8. Pulled this one out of a dollar bin a couple weeks ago. Never saw it before!
  9. I thought at first it was just some added staples, people do some goofy things to comics. But that was it for staples, nothing along the spine, no other staple holes, etc. So the book got knocked off kilter at the staple stage but was back in place by the folding stage.
  10. This movie was terrible, like ScyFy Channel original movie bad! Seventeen thumbs down!
  11. Defenders 47 with an early Moon Knight appearance seems to get some attention.
  12. This all sounds like a bad idea!
  13. I sold off my AF15, ASM1-20, Avengers 1,4, B&B28, Showcase 22, and assorted others (all low grade and lower grade) for a down payment on my first home purchase in 2010. If I had waited for today's prices I could have bought the house maybe instead of just a down payment, but then there likely would have been no one to move into it because my wife would have divorced me if I tried to make her wait that long for our first house! Worth it!
  14. Stan said that watching Jack draw was incredible because of how fast he was, he said other artists would start with a circle for a head and another circle for the body and start filling in the details, but that Jack would just draw it all out like it already existed and he was just tracing it out. Stan also said the only other artist who was as fast as Jack was Joe Maneely. Here are some uninked Kirby pencils from his Captain Victory books for Pacific in 1981.
