Kudos to BillytheKidd (Bill) for taking my last-minute submission to WWPhilly this weekend.
I noticed last Sunday night that Matt Howarth would be in Artist Alley at WWPhilly. The name won't ring many bells, but he did a single issue of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles years back. I got the book to Bill, who took it to the show, got it signed on the first day and submitted for onsite SS grading.
You're awesome, Bill. Thanks!
.......It's always great to hear stories like that.....
Kudos to all those who take submissions!!

Copper is my favorite age! But this forum does not get much love. I usually post in the Signature room, but since most of my collection is Copper, I'm gonna start posting them here too!
First up: Wizard #1 SS McFarlane!
I picked this book up when it first came out in the comic shop, so the fact that it held a 9.2 grade after all these years while in my collection is pretty cool!
.......And of course ASM #298 is a must have in any Copper collection!

More of a Copper/ Modern collector, but here is my first Bronze!

Census shows 255 graded issues, with only 3 signed
can you believe it?

Nice! If you ever decide to sell it let me know, it'd look great next to my Strange Tales 107. (thumbs uOnly sig on the census! It sure doesn't look like Off-White pages AT ALL! Cool book!
Thanks guys! Glad you all could appreciate it!

KUDOS to DWC for nailing some sigs for me at the Pittsburg Con! (thumbs u

Yeah, mine was one of the last to get shipped out in the first place, which was a delay to begin with. I saw all these posts for books people got back and mine hadn't shipped yet.
Then CGC shipped it back to DWC instead of me.
When DWC shipped it out, somehow it had the wrong address on it and the post office returned it because they said it didn't exist.
I got DWC the right address but they were at a convention so they couldn't mail it out until they got back.
It arrived on a Saturday, and it needed a signature, but I was at work and my wife, who was at home, never heard the mail lady so she just left that stupid note saying it could be picked up anytime monday.
I was there about 5 minutes after they opened, I wasn't waiting any longer than I had too that was for sure!!!
Wow, what a story! Glad it all worked out! (thumbs u

FINALLY got this back from the signing. A couple shipping mishaps, but it arrived all in good order. My very first SS book...I'm hooked now. Just sent off a DD #16 and DD #17 to DWC for a John Romita and a Stan Lee.

Here is a Journal entry I made when I sent it off.
Glad to hear the package reached you safely. I could only imagine the pain you were going through.

Not exactly sure where Coppers end and Moderns pick up (especially since it's widely disputed), but i'd say early Spawn issues fall into the Copper catagory.....![hm](//content.invisioncic.com/r266625/emoticons/893scratchchin-thumb.gif.92219e791dbb2ae947bf56b88f08022d.gif)
