Hello @Ryan Beyer
CGC Video Games now grades most international games, but not all. For a list of international games that CGC Video Games does grade, go here: https://www.cgcvideogames.com/news-and-events/news/cgc-video-games-now-grading-most-international-releases
if you have any other questions, please let us know.
Perhaps I missed it. However, I did not see Japanese Sega Dreamcast games. Is CGC grading these?

I’m a copper head. I stopped collecting in the late 90’s then picked the hobby up again in 2007. There were two books which dragged me back into the hobby. Primarily due to the cover art: New Avengers #27, and Red Sonja #13 (Dynamite).
I loved the cover of New Avengers, and recently discovered CGC, along with the signature series program. I got the book signed in 2009 by cover artist Lenin Yu. Subsequently, the whole Hawkeye /Ronin hype showed up. All of a sudden, the book picked up some steam (which later died out). I remember when my book was the only signature series book on the census in a 9.8. Now, there are 16. No doubt due to the Endgame hype.
Question: does the date of signature have any meaning to you as a signature collector? Do you feel the need to have the earliest signed copy of a book?
BTW: I believe my copy is the earliest signature, so i challenge anyone to post an earlier signature.

Merry Christmas, my fellow McFarlane fans! Look what Santa brought me
The one big McFarlane key I was missing. (Yes I've got ASM 298-301 etc..) I think this thread was born out of a discussion I had with Mr Fantastic about the similarities between the cover of this, Batman 423, and McFarlane's Det Year 2 covers. This copy has travelled across the globe and now has a loving home down under. I've been wanting it for a long time but I waited for a solid copy at a reasonable price. If I'm honest with myself it's not a '9.8 candidate'. It's got a few small colour breaking spine ticks but I love it anyway. And the last time one for sale over here on eBay had a freaking detached cover and still sold quickly.
Congrats! …but I don’t mind detached covers…

Oddly enough, I kind of like that. It takes away that instinctive reaction to any grade lower than 9.8, and honestly - the book is about the signature now, not about the contents.
My thoughts exactly. Additionally, why spend unnecessary cash for this book? It’s valued/ so expensive solely due to the cover. Not due to anything inside the book.
I want a nice looking copy signed, but don’t want to spend hundreds. What’s a guy to do? Just grab a nice enough looking copy, and submit the cover for signature. -

Right! I keep thinking it as a NG that made it in the world after all
Have at thee!
The other two first issues of the Trinity (Batman #1 and Superman #1) are valued so much more than this one I figured it was a great time to snag whatever I could get before the universe corrected this blunder! Originally was going to keep it raw and try hunting down more wraps/covers for it but realized how crazy hard that would be and just made peace with what I had (which really was the most important bits - the origin story and first Ares appearance is basically all there)Awesomeness!

Yes! The splash pages! Can’t see that awesome lettering, artwork and colors with the cover.
That’s a great first page! -

Posted this in a few other places, but this is my latest crack and 'upgrading' coverless books I bought. Purchased it as a pile of scraps, missing both the front and back covers. I knew that so long as I could replace ONE of the cover sides it would be possible to obtain an 0.5 (which is a massive difference in price when compared to an NG - basically I was striving to make this a "Buy the grade, not the book" rather than "Buy the book, not the grade", impressive display for absolute lowest cost possible). Tracked down a replacement back cover and put it all together with a reproduction front cover.
While I applaud the work and time you put into this book, the thread is for NG, CVR, and PG designations.
Again, this looks great, though!

My conclusion: some people are so dumb they would not know a good piece if it sat on their face.
