  1. Juggy could be Khoi Pham. I agree on Cam Stewart and Wagner. It is very small but Two Face could be Pat McEown
  2. In that last panel, is that Thanos battling Pip the Troll?
  3. Grendel has long been a favorite. I am hopeful we see a finished product somewhere. For some reason as soon as I saw this guy I think his body shape screams Grendel, not in every photo but in this one and a few others. this guy in the suit holding the staff would look fantastic, like the statue I think
  4. I once owned this one but let it go years ago He did some good AoA stuff and his Avengers Forever work makes the crazy story worth following.
  5. I used to be (much more) naive and perhaps I am too cynical to think that outright theft is the most likely answer. So I guess I should give them the benefit of the doubt, maybe it isn't outright theft by a cgc employee and gross incompetence is the answer
  6. it will be handled quietly, or mishandled I should say cgc should just ship us back fentanyl and put us out of our misery sorry for the screw up @D2, please keep us updated on any new developments because cgc will not
  7. oh, greed and WANT are what lead people to making bad decisions they know they should not make. Let that voice in your head be a sign you are on shaky ground and cannot trust yourself if you proceed, hear that voice and step away.
  8. I prefer dealers who refuse F&F, which is a sign they are a real and trustworthy dealer. I would never 3rd party payment someone unless a friend, a real friend, is involved. Saw a play recently where it was stated...business is business. And for some people that means they can screw someone, it ain't personal it's business. (Yes it is a bit of a sociopathic viewpoint.) So don't be surprised when things get lost on loan, prices change between middlemen, and people disappear with money. It's business to them. Don't put yourself in a position to have someone give you da'business is my advice. tax evasion
  9. I like this. see you in 240 days
  10. anything in the doctor strange universe I am interested he turned down my clea request last year! so bummed, finally made his list and he turns it down
  11. Turns out the graders were counting the spine ticks, found 96 and put a big note on the bag to emphasize it "96!"...that was passed on to encapsulation who said "okey dokey, 9.6 it is!".
  12. oops, I missed his post! ryan reynolds instagram, hugh in deadpool 3 as wolvie...2024
  13. ugh, I lost a friend to ALS this summer. It is one of the ugliest ways to die, slowly and surely. My thoughts are with him and his family and friends. I love his art as well.
  14. yes he certainly did, how about Gene Colan though? they are all making choices. Buscema's demons are where he gets funky and his 80s Avengers are to his earlier stuff what this Thing is to Ronin. My point was about editors sending art back, striving for realism isn't a top priority on a cover.
  15. comic book figures are not realistic, it is not just Liefeld or FM. (BTW, I am not a fan of this Thing. ugly WW, trashy Black Canary, they are what he intended but this seems, while intentional, poorly visualized with no depth as mentioned earlier.) Editors accept wonky anatomy...I remember hating on Jim Starlin predrawn con offerings because the poses meant each characters legs were different lengths but my pal told me to lighten up, they looked good and he was right in the end.
  16. lots more people went to see DK during the week it seems than CM...nerds!
  17. glad to see it settled, I hope to OP's satisfaction I hope we can get a statement at some point in the future to restore confidence. It doesn't have to be specific ("we are aware of the circumstances surrounding this book and have modified our processes to eliminate the chance of similar occurrences in the future") but this seems like sweeping it under the rug, but we still know it is there
  18. time is money you can ink more pages per day easy peasy
  19. gofistyourself now available in new economy tier size when you think cgc economy tier, think gofistyourself
  20. absolutely, although I would add in addition it being a price raise it is also a delay of the reinforcement/reward; they are actively dissuading ET submissions.
  21. I went on mcs and noticed a "your offers" button, so I clicked it. There I saw the following, take it for what you will. Last week of May 2022, on mcs there was an IMSM 1 cgc 9.0 listed at $1147 and I offered $950, which he declined. That book is now priced $850. Were we both fools?
  22. this may be a great idea...someone should start a poll and find out You are getting saucy lately!
