  1. gotta be in it to win it I am selling gangbusters myself but I have been listing like a maniac, took my listings from 50-100 to just under 200. I keep adding more but cannot get over 200 as I am selling 2-5 each day. These are $1-$20 comics though, nothing too expensive. I find ebay buying my stuff that wouldn't sell cheaper here. The boards seem to be dead in terms of sales. I used to sell raw cheap comics in good shape rather well, but not much sales from my last few threads so I put it up on ebay and away it goes.
  2. well, now I have a few K worth of bids! Thanks fellas!
  3. NYCC should have many witnesses available for your request. Go to the cgc booth and ask for a witness for the panel and they will give you an answer. Have fun.
  4. I imagine it needs to be cost on label with any excess refunded. That would be my take if I bought one and I paid more than shipping listed on the label. Perhaps these transactions should be required to include the shipping cost displayed on the label instead of choosing the option where one can hide actual shipping cost see, I'm still here.
  5. I was gonna say, I've met Jim Lee a few times but never Carl Potts. I did almost get a commission from him years ago but he quoted me $450 and that was a shock at the time so I never followed through. ugh.
  6. I just tell them I will refund excess shipping if ebay makes them pay, which I do once a week or so.
  7. good approach. I do think once you say take it you have done took it, but this is a great approach as a seller
  8. pro photos for house listing, so I figured it was a good opportunity to show what my comic room looks like before I dismantle it There are again curtains on those windows, don't worry! You cannot really see individual pieces but you get a view of two Dr Strange walls and some starman pieces by the bar. No good views of the pieces in the hall after the bar though.
  9. It's like when Howard went to Sirius and started saying the bad words...I like the creativity as well as the inane beaucracy of the spoon much more than I like...well...crap.
  10. Can we have the name of the mod who created the custom title underneath the custom title please? That would be a more subtle way we can use to shame others.
  11. and you're still holding that grudge?
  12. it is how you do it, not what you do calling names gets mikey's dander up
  13. are you saying it would be more clear if it just says dick under some names instead?
  14. n.y.w_7 she made offer, I accepted then she started asking about the item and decided to not buy (she wanted complete nausicaa, this was part 1, 1-7, said she didn't know it had different parts. etc.) Feedback shows this is a common tactic.
  15. they will do neither. they only collect books and transport them to sarasota for the rest of the process. whether you want to secure them for shipping or want them to do so may matter. You go to the booth, show the books and fill out or give them the prefilled out form, they confirm books, take books/forms from you and place in a box with other con subs behind them and off you go.
  16. On 80s Avengers I wonder if Buscema did more than roughs/breakdowns? Look at how he handles Colans smoky magic here on this page (that is on my downstairs wall) Here's another from that issue that I own. It looks fairly straightforward but there is a lot going on here inking wise.
  17. I got 2 9.9s on all star batman 1. Out of the diamond box and I myself prescreened for the best and sent in about 5. I got 2 9.9s. I have only subbed maybe 200 books total.
  18. I got kicked off whatnot for asking why my request to buy was not replied to. I was not impolite at all. This was months ago, not C2E2 related
