Didn't you just finish saying you would have no problem signing it?
Maybe he thought there would be more guys like you.
I can only imagine his disappointment when he found out...nope, just more guys like you.

Maybe he thought better of it when buyer feedback was negative?
are you suggesting he initially thought it would be well received?

I can confirm that he requires a contract to be signed (or used to). It was a separate contract, not stamped on the pages.
No, he does not.

well, it seems
2367 people have clicked from here to there, so thank you!there is a small fee included in the shipping/handling charges, if any boardies win lots and PM me here after auction closes or when they are invoiced I will waive that fee. for what it is worth, I do one fee for up to 3 lots and another for 4+ lots while the auction houses I reviewed for reference charge $10 or so for each and every lot. I am keeping the fees low to encourage bidding and hope people take note. the BP is 18%, also low relative to the other auctions on live auctioneers

auction is picking up steam, please check it out!

I would love to get some (more) boardie consignments, so if you think you have a few books that would do well on live auctioneers consider sending them my way...next auction will be early/mid May. Maybe just 30 bronze books in nice shape, 25 magazines, I don't require megavalue to consign and have great rates, PM for details. Please. If you have 50 longboxes in storage, why not move one or three? People are still buying, I know this as someone bid on a lot of 75 Justice League Europe comics!!!
-
FYI, the lot with The Authority in it still has no bids at $10 start!
-
since this is my first auction I would love feedback from boardies. any thoughts are welcome, critical or complimentary.
did I mention $10 starting bids and no reserve?
here are 4 keys in one lot!

I saw him at NYCC in 2008 and man, he looked great. We all age, of course - but you've lived a good life if you're in your 70's with a full head of hair, wearing a suit at a comic convention and sporting a b*tchln' tan.
he is the coolest man in any room he enters! And he still has his swagger. I saw him last year, bought 6 of the calendar prints but he now asks $50 a sig so I passed on having them signed.
Jim Shooter's a huge man. If he falls on Steranko neither may be getting up on their own. I really like Shooter too.
I hope OP gets his comic with a great head sketch as well.

Sounds like someone needs to contact Steranko to slap some sense into Shooter.
he would do it, but I don't think he could reach
Shooter could likely pick up Steranko by the head with one hand!
in this case the outsized talent and outsized charisma comes in a tiny package

thanks!
M.O.D.O.K is coming! I hope cgc gets this back to you so we can both make a little $ off that giant big headed freak!

by the way, that Blazing Comics 6 has the Will Rogers story in it.

wow, time flies! I am set with 100 lots and decided to likely stop there for this first auction. I am now re-taking photos of the lots or adding photos of more valuable issues in a lot, etc. I am targeting Feb 18 but may go a little earlier if I am set sooner than expected. Yeah, right.
Here is a Moon Knight lot, 50 comics total IIRC. Boy have some of those MK issues increased in value!!!

I bought a book at mcs and had them send it to cgc for grading. ToS94. This was sooooooo long ago. I don't have an item # on my page so I do not know how I can check on its' progress. Can I get some help through this thread perhaps? (Sean W)

saw recently that Gunn was saying nice things about Tom King...has anyone asked directly about that New Gods project with King and Ava DuVernay? I think 4th World would work best if it comes first or at least somewhat concurrently with other new projects...weave in some 4th World characters in the larger DCU.
anyway, just a thought

not a bad thing, they just caught an error in the final product and will rectify it. as revat said, good to catch it now as that is what QC if there for
