  1. I bought a mid grade copy and a beater about 6 years ago and they both have gone up nearly tenfold on what I paid for them. Not sure of the price bump when Arnold played Mr. Freeze.
  2. Since pot is legal to sell in Colorado, I'm surprised Chuck hasn't diversified and set up a dispensary in the warehouse.
  3. Didn't know the Link did this. Doesn't surprise me, though. I'm glad it arrived safe and sound.
  4. Congrats, man! You're lucky I never saw the auction. You might have still won it, but would have had to pay more.
  5. I've been tracking the book for 6 or 7 years, it seems to have cooled off quite a bit in the last year or so. I still can't see Forever People 1 surpassing it, but who knows?
  6. I have a HG 439 (jealous of your centering). I need to find a HG 441.
  7. What a gorgeous book. An actual white cover.
  8. Wow! That's a fantastic deal. I didn't even see the book up for auction. Fantucchio's have gone for absurd amounts, I'm scratching my head why it went as reasonable as it did.
  9. Nice! I'd love to take that 9.2 off of your hands. Not in this market though. Congrats on an awesome trifecta!
  10. Bob, Do you have any books that you won't sell? And if you do have a personal collection, what's your favorite book that you own?
  11. Bob, did you sell all of your raw 1's and 2's? You listed a bunch and I don't see nary a one now.
  12. Or banning the seller from selling on their site. The buyer got the scroogy sandwich, which sucks. Similar thing happened to me years ago.
  13. The seller doesn't need the money and does set nosebleed prices, ,but man, he has the goods. He must have had 15 copies of Hulk 181 in 8.5 and mostly higher at Wondercon 8 years ago. You name the key, he had it and usually in multiples. I remember making what I thought was an aggressive offer on his WWBN1 9.6 Suscha News copy. The best looking copy I have ever seen, but he declined. Guess what, ,somebody eventually paid his price.
  14. Imagine what a 9.8 would fetch if it ever happens.
  15. High bid is $40,500 with 2 days left. Wondering if it passes 60K?
