  1. Super sharp copy. Somebody is hoping it can go up in grade with a CPR. That's a 9.2 price that it went for.
  2. The Fantucchio 9.6 closed tonight for $14,501.00. Amazing!
  3. Agreed. Stan's sig is as rare as a $1 bill. No hate towards him, but most of the collectors out there really don't want sigs on a book. Your book stands on it's own merits, not souped up because of a signature. All IMO, of course.
  4. Nothing has gone up in the same delusional manner as AF 15 in the past 6 months.
  5. Slow? The book has tripled/quadrupled in the past 5 years. What do you want from it? Hulk 1 is no AF15. I wouldn't be a buyer of either at these prices.
  6. How many copies do you own, snake oil salesman?
  7. Gorgeous copy, Randall! The centering is off the charts nice.
  8. You sir, have an addiction. I'm glad of it, too.
  9. GPA wouldn't help you too much on this book. If it does go to auction, I'd be shocked if it went for under 4M. It might go for much more, depending on how many bidders have to have it. I've seen a lower grade copy at a small show in the late 70's and held it in my hands.
  10. nah, it has gone up. 9.4's doubled in the past 3 years or so. 9.8's are back up to about 20K, which is way less than the MS5 9.8 sale. One easy to get in 9.8, the other, not so much.
  11. Hulk 181 in 9.4 is around 6K. MS5 in 9.2 is 1.5K up to 2.4K in 9.4. You been nippin' at the bottle tonight, Oak?
  12. There doesn't seem to be any notations of small amount of color touch or glue on the book either. 9.2 with white pages. I hope we get to see a high res. scan of this beauty sometime soon.
  13. Sidebar, if the owner is auctioning it, he should be paid by the auction house to have the privilege of auctioning it for him/her.
  14. I'm assuming that is CGC's booth? If the owner is letting advertisement occur, I'd imagine it is going to Heritage or cc soon. If all of these assumptions are close to being right, I can see a silly final hammer price.
  15. Yea, I don't mind the size, it is THE book for me. Not in this lifetime.
  16. Action 1. Judgment day is coming and Daddy needs a spanking. Or something like that. All precode horror keys along with Bats 227, GS X-men 1, HOS 92 and most of the Bronze Age keys.
  17. Wow! Sweet book, sir! I haven't seen Harley since the last year of Wondercon at the Moscone Center. Wish he had a real website.
  18. Sweet book, Scott! Hope all is well. For anyone sitting on the fence, Scott is a great seller. Buy with confidence.
  19. More like Greggy is the king of the bronze age. I'd love to see all of his keys. I bet there are multiples, too.
  20. My dream commission would be to sell Stan Lee's empire. 6% right?
  21. A dealer would be foolish to hold books out that are for sale. You never know when the one customer is going to show up for THAT book.
  22. It's rare to see a truly white SA book. I've seen a few, but nearly every one of them have either ink transfer from the interior or have dulled to some degree. I bought a snow white FF Annual 2 back in 1979 or so and kept it in a mylar ever since. I was out of the hobby for 2 decades and when I got back in about 10 years ago, looked at the book and it had ink transfer from the interior and had yellowed considerably from when I placed it into a mylar. I live in California with little humidity and the storage conditions have always been good.
