I think that danger always exists if you are speculating on books that have movie/TV show buzz. Anyone remember the prices The Sixth Gun books were going for just based on the rumor of a TV show? Then when the Pilot was picked up they plummeted, 90% drop in value almost overnight. Before the Walking Dead became a phenomenon movie/tv show rumors hardly did anything to the price of a comic featuring the first appearance of a character. Xmen, back in 1999, did absolutely nothing as far as driving people to pay more for copies of XMen 1, Hulk 181, Giant Size Xmen 1, Iron Fist 14, Avengers Annual 10, Ms Marvel 18 despite featuring characters who would go on to be 3 successful feature films.

Detective Comics 35 CGC .5 B pages, tape on the inside and outside of the cover, pieces of the cover reattached with tape. Overall the book presents Ok, the center image of the Batman and antagonist and his victim are intact. The main flaw of the book besides the brittle pages is tape along the length of the spine. There was an extra unnecessary staple that has been removed from the book so there are two tiny pin holes in the cover. Tough book to price right now considering how hot Pre-Robin Detectives are. A qualified .5 just sold on Ebay, asking was $7900 sold price was $5900. Asking $10000 for this complete blue label copy.

I've got 3 books being expressed at cgc that i got at WW Chicago. Ill post them when they come in.

What is page condition of the .5? A book that otherwise be a 1.0 could be downgraded to a .5 due to the pages.

What is the value of the business now? Sales figures for the past year? Minimum investment amount?

What $ amount are you looking to raise? How many investors (owners) are you looking to partner with? What is the valuation of a share of the company? Do the investors have a say in what is purchased and what is sold? How much of the % of capital is expended on a purchase or show?

I wouldn't send the Spidey or the Star Wars 42 & 68, not enough return on investment to justify grading them.

They're also selling a Sub-Mariner 1 CGC 8.0 R for $1300, which is the better "investment?"

To my eye, the right edge of the cover looks to have been trimmed, poorly I might add.

6 of these people will actually buy comics.

That Hulk 181 could be the ToyBiz reprint, it looks strategically covered.

Rumor is, someone tried entering the show with a real shotgun, real handguns and knives dressed in tactical gear.

I would use GPA, Ebay or Heritage recorded sales. Comics price guide has completely unrealistic prices IMO.
