@Gary Strange I was actually referring to your submission 4133882. I pulled up your account and located the submission you were referencing in house. Because each book has different needs, it is possible for submissions to go past the estimated turnaround time of pressing. Please note the estimated turnaround time is an average of what most of our submissions are going through the system through their respective tiers at that time. This submission should be moving through to CGC shortly from its recent update status in CCS as being completed. Let us know if you have any other questions.

As far as I know, CCS still hasn’t located my books to move them to grading. I’ve talked to customer service who told me they might have been placed with the regular moderns, but never received a status update. Two questions: where are my books and when is my submission no longer considered “fast tracked”?

Called CGC today and they said my CCS pressing was finalized back in Nov 2, but it hasn't moved since then. Still says CCS in process in my account.  Anyone have this happen before?

@Gary Strange Thank you for confirming which invoice you were referring to. I have asked our team to have this located and finished up. Pressing is a very lengthy process as each book can go through the pressing machine multiple times to press out as many defects as possible. Each submission will have a different number of books and different needs as far as how much pressing must be done so there isn't any set time frame on how long one submission might take for pressing. It will vary from book to book. You will receive an email once that moves to the CGC side for grading. If you have any questions, please let us know.

I think you are referring to the original poster here, not me. I just interjected that I’m also having delays. Going on double the estimated turnaround for me right now. So it might be time to reevaluate the 15 day that’s posted. Thanks.

To clarify, they've always claimed that turnaround times start at received. I'm not disbuting that. However, I'm saying turnaround times are showing are now around 20 days, but receiving times, which were caught up for quite a while, are now at 2-3 weeks.

So instead of marking received day of with 35 day posted turnarounds, CGC can just opt to not mark received for 2-3 weeks and still claim 20 days on their website. So it looks better on paper for them and for people wanting to send stuff in.

There’s no point in CGC posting estimated turnaround times all all. Especially when my last email from them was basically “it’ll get done when it gets done”

I don't think that is correct. It may have been the first time in Hollywood, or even in America but the legend preceeds it.  Many legendary tales tell of melting down silver to fight the supernatural.  One of the Eastern tyrants that was loosely used in Dracula was executed by silver bullets.

Silver Bullets to kill werewolves didn't exist until The Wolfman Movie.

Last couple of orders have been pretty difficult to swallow given the amount of money and time invested.

TMNT #1 - #4 box damaged and rejected at CGC
18 books submitted in January mislabeled AFTER CCS in August and sent back  because they added Prescreen and all but 3 rejected.  Prescreen is a mandatory 25 books. Using ME status to resend.

Walkthrough just now for a perfect TMNT #1 Sixth print.  It was not a candidate for CCS. States it shipped.  There is no grade listed ... d'oh!  I still have 200 books in process and regretting giving my debit card several months back as even though I updated the CC weekly thousands are being debited. Use a prepaid card or credit card for your modern orders!

    There no grade?!

The good news is if it’s got no graders notes then you know it’s anywhere between a 8.5-10!!
