  1. I remember reading that there is someone out there who collects every copy of Tormented #1 he can find!
  2. centaurs in general are mostly 100 and less....many only 3-10 known Among the rarest are Amazing man 26 Amf 2/4 Amf 1/4 Kdf 1/10 Little giant 4 Many star are single digit And those are just the tip of the centaur iceberg eliminating the unreachable hoard we believe to exist, threre ain't many fantastic 3's out there, i can tell you. You mean it's markedly scarcer than other early Fox issues?
  3. I'm showing my ignorance here! Your estimates for key Timelys and DCs are much higher than I had ever imagined. Fascinating! It leads me to wonder what your population estimates might be for Centaurs - are any of them relatively common, and which are the rarest, and how few copies of these might there be? Apologies if this has been asked before!
  4. Very sweet looking copy of a great book, congrat's. Thanks! I wanted a decent copy to go with my other Lightning cover, which I've shown before #14 seems to be the marginally tougher book to find with deep colors! How confusing it must have been for kids in 1940 to find no story to match the cover inside the book!
  5. Scrooge has become the fiction house champ!
  6. Recently acquired early and late Fiction House (had the #18 for a while but dont recall posting it)
  7. Get's my vote! Are you on the ticket? (thumbs u
  8. keep at it--it can be done [at least thru 7/40, it can]. Gator has promised to help me! Honest!
  9. I like this one Me too, but I prefer #1 - never seen it before. Thanks BZ!
  10. A few more Fox issues....long way to go! The two vertiginous Wonderworld covers make my head spin!
  11. The #5 came from Superworld, who gave me great deal. The #14 isnt with me yet but looks great for a fair to good copy [courtesy of my old buddy Harley]
  12. Tritto. The 8.5. No question at all. You should keep the orange ones and sell the red one to me!
  13. I'm interested to know myself, Kelly. It's in the mail to me right now so I wil let you know whehn it gets to me in a week or so! (thumbs u
  14. That's a very tough issue in VG let alone this nice! Pretty book Sharon!
  15. Thanks, Gary. I was looking through some of my pulps the other day and I noticed a pirates cover (of a sort) you may never have seen. V1#1, V1#2 Thank you! These are absolutely beautiful and I had never seen them before.
  16. I didn't realize that Romita had ever worked for Gold Key. I dont think he ever did. According to Wikipedia his influences included Noel Sickles,Roy Crane, and Milton Caniff. And I thought the face in Scrooge's mystery panel resembled J. Jonah Jameson!
  17. Well done Boot! Give us another, Michael!
