Did you get that off eBay? I was tracking it and you definitely got it for a nice price. I paid almost double that for my 5.0. Awesome book. Yes, that's correct! I was determined to win it having lost out on a number of other copies, and would have paid more. And sometimes that works in your favour, unless you meet someone equally determined! Fairly confident the investment is safe but to be honest, I dont care. Just a wonderful cover - and, as I've learned, great content as well!

Remember when I pm'd you to say I'd received a copy of a book I hadnt ordered? This was the book! I eventually figured out that it ws a complimentary copy because ages ago I had given the author a scan of my FAC #20 - had totally forgotten until I saw the cover reproduced! All I can say about the contents is - more please! Great quality reproduction and some really great stories in there - loved the Fawcetts in particular!

A couple of weeks ago, I thought I had nailed down Fight # 34, the last issue I need in the dreaded 30's off eBay. I paid and then ... PointFive sends me a PM that he has MY book The eBay seller mis-shipped the book to him and for some reason .5 suspects I might have bought the book (he had purchased several sweet Fights from the same seller). OK, no problem, the gods are on my side, the book is in honest hands and not lost forever ... except even though the centerfold is still there, it's missing at least 4 pages!! In the meantime, I was excited and decided to buy the Fight 71 off Jeff Weaver (I had seen but not bought the book at Baltimore Con, deciding I'd wait on the 71, getting first the tougher 34 ). After Jon shipped the book to me, I shipped it back to the seller and received my refund today. Still on the hunt for a 34 now Glad the refund worked out...good to hear. (thumbs u Actually, I think you should have all your GA purchases shipped to me for vetting from now on. I'll be sure to pass on to you only the books that will meet your standards.
