  1. For me, a Big Art Day. Six pages arrived today. A new Doctor Doom splash page: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=840615&GSub=75244 Three Pat Broderick Micronauts pages, one a Baron Karza I've been looking for for years: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=840617&GSub=115796 http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=840619&GSub=115796 ...and two pages from ROM Spaceknight Annual 2, an issue I'm attempting to assemble. Best Wishes to Romain and Arnaud for making it happen! http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=840622&GSub=103726 http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=840620&GSub=103726
  2. A rare Steve Ditko page from the Micronauts: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=836924&GSub=115797 Andrew
  3. Everyone has their own way of shipping securely. Some are better than others. I ALWAYS ship with a rigid toploader. (The same thing as a trading card toploader, only sized for 11x17) They're a little expensive, but good to have for peace of mind (and this is a guy who worries about the parcels I've shipped as much as the parcels I'm waiting on). Never gone wrong for me so far. Andrew
  4. Congrats to all on the Sticky status of the thread! This thread is a great service to collectors new AND old! Andrew
  5. Exactly. The Sistine Chapel was a commission. So was the Last Supper. etc. Andrew
  6. My most recent completed commission just arrived, another Micronauts / Star Wars movie poster mashup by VOLTRON artist CLINT HILINSKI for my 'Through a MICROscope' theme. I knew Clint's tight mechanical line would be a perfect fit for a mashup of the classic Howard Chaykin 'Star Wars' ComicCon poster. Outstanding. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=772327&GSub=104286 Clint is currently available for commission requests. I don't know if he has VOLTRON pages for sale, or any other published artwork, but it doesn't hurt to ask, he'd love to hear from people: http://clinthilinski.deviantart.com/ http://www.clinthilinski.blogspot.com/ Andrew
  7. Just found out the collector who owns a piece I covet has had said piece matted and framed. Bummer (for me). That complicates matters - or makes them much simpler, depending on one's perspective. Excuse me while I go somewhere and sulk like a child.
  8. Just received the finished product of a long-in-development commission idea: a fake crossover between ROM Spaceknight and the Micronauts. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=712596&From=gallery&GSub=104286&GCat=27108&UCat=0
  9. Just finished a massive upload of ROM SPACEKNIGHT pages! 37 new pages of Sal Buscema goodness! All inked by personal-favorite inking team Ian Akin and Brian Garvey. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=73709 ...and, while you're in the neighborhood, feel invited to check out my other ROM gallery, 13 out of 40 pages from ROM Annual #2, by the same artistic team: http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryRoom.asp?GSub=103726
  10. Micronauts-themed redo of INFINITY GAUNTLET #1 by Anthony Castrillo. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=698905&GSub=104286 Awesome. Andrew
  11. A MICRONAUTS - inspired piece by Art Adams. http://www.comicartfans.com/GalleryPiece.asp?Piece=644403&GSub=51058
