  1. I'd be happy if it turned into a ToT #1.
  2. Nice! You should do pretty well on that one if you sell.
  3. The problem with that line of thinking is that there are plenty of books where the whole run may be 9.6/9.8, but may not yield a single 9.9.
  4. It's tough to maintain a huge 9.8 premium when 90% ofthe copies out there are 9.8 quality.
  5. Well there are clearly going to be references to Christianity when you're dealing with an apocalyptic scenario set in rural America. That doesn't mean the show is pushing any religious agenda, especially when the characters' prayers/beliefs never pay off.
  6. I don't get a pro-Christian vibe from the show at all. Shane is also crazy and a murderer, so even if he is in fact baptizing himself, I don't think you're supposed to look to him as the show's moral compass.
  7. That may be the ugliest comic book I've ever seen.
  8. It's a $10 book because there are a ton of them out there. The 37K print run is 2x that of Thief of Thieves 1 for example. There's also 5 prints and an RRP, with a significantly cooler cover. I love the series, but I wouldn't bank on 1 hitting $40 raw consistently any time soon.
  9. That is laughable, but... I hope it sells, because I have 4 Jesus pages from the same issue.
  10. Abraham's girlfriend is also in mourning... Widow-on-widow action wouldn't be all that hot with Adlard drawing, but it'll pay off tenfold when the TV show catches up. TV Maggie
  11. GLENN IS DEAD! HIS HEAD WAS BEATEN IN BY NEGAN USING A BASEBALL BAT NAMED 'LUCIELLE'!!! Feel free to discuss.
  12. Yep - now you have access to the one accurate price guide for this hobby (thumbs u
  13. Nobody knows at this point. Nothing's been announced and he doesn't appear often.
  14. Well, I read a non-spoiler review, but there was a very large implied spoiler. is safe but is in deep and also
  15. The variants are annoying, but not a reason to quit the book. That's just silly. If they bother you, buy the standard 'Something to Fear' cover and call it a day.
  16. Not a knock on you, obviously, but I can't believe people are considering a solicitation mag a first appearance. I mean, technically, Previews probably has the first appearances of half of new modern characters. Maybe I should go stockpile whatever issue of previews shows the cover image of NYX #3 or, better yet, Walking Dead #1!! Previews #25896712 - the first appearance of Rick Grimes!
  17. how many years of the book are covered in two seasons of the show? The show doesn't follow the comic exactly so kinda hard to say. Less than 2 years if I had to say ok cool. thank you for the info it's like....it's like i was bitten by a roamer! Yeah, you'll like the show, particularly because it's not a strict adaptation of the comic. Many of the same things happen, but a lot of stuff changes, which keeps us interesting for long time readers. The first 6 or so episodes of season 2 are inexplicably boring though. Stick with it through that part and it's great.
  18. I have no idea what this means, but I lol'd
  19. I think the fact that he calls it a splash page bothers me more than the price.
  20. Normally I'd agree, but I think most of the speculation on his importance comes from this interview quote from Adlard: Honestly, who knows? I guess he's just the best bet for 'next hot character' at this point.
