I feel like I"m dreaming.  Ever since I joined the boards, I always wanted this.

I"m claiming @wombat legendary box.  After seeing it the last few years, I can't believe i finally got it!!!!

    Picking

Prize 40: Horror Magazine/Frazetta/Random stuff mystery box
extravaganza (US shipping only) - donated by wombat

I got it a couple of years ago, and it does not disappoint. Glad it is off the board or I would think about doing it again!

  2. This is going to be a hard one for me. I've felt very unfocused lately and other than a few nice original art pieces this year, I really haven't gone after anything specific per say. I think if anything 2020 will be a year of cataloging what I have, sending off books to slab, selling off approximately half of what I send off to have slabbed, and pick up one or two nice pieces of original art along the way.

    Gen 13 1-3 Signed Lot [$10.00]

So I bought a collection all kinds of years ago when I lived in Tucson and it came with a stack of signed books from various conventions, mostly of early Image creators (I listed NewMen earlier for free and nobody took it, lmao). Sigs were not witnessed, but I believe they are all legit. Problem is, I've no clue who signed them lol . It doesn't look like Lee or Campbell to me. Anyone know?

Sad, selfishly I was really looking forward to meeting Mr. Perez and having him sign some books for me.

The real question is, will he still be appearing at FetishCon in Florida which he was booked for the day after Terrificon! Hmmmmm

Still, I wish him the best and hope one day he can back to the northeast.

Fetish and Dragon Con are two of his favorites. He might not be at a table much but I bet he's there.

Good Luck with the that, Stan Lee Signed books are stil climbing, especially on the older books he actually really worked on and it’s been almost 9 months now. I don’t think the market will ever readjust itself.

It will eventually, but at the moment a lot of people are in no rush to sell them off. Trickle a few here and there out and the demand will remain as well as the price.

Same here for Perez. I don't really want to go on a crazy weekend but not sure if Perez will be there Thur or Friday? We are only planning one day.  I called CGC about a month ago asking if someone would be available but was told to call when it got closer.

Don't go for Perez on Thursday. Artist alley won't even be open until Friday around noon.

  8. A lot of people use safe deposit boxes, others refit gun safes, and others just store them. The right answer will lie somewhere in how often you want to see them versus how secure do they need to be for you to be comfortable.  As for insurance, several ways to go with that. You can get a rider on your homeowner's insurance which is a bit pricey, and there are a few insurance brokers that specialize in comics. This discussion comes up often. Here's another thread where it was discussed...
